Nordic Ware Better Batter Bowl, White, 10 Cups

I recently picked up this plastic mixing bowl with a handle, and it's quickly become one of my go-to tools in the kitchen. Here’s what I love about it: Lightweight & Easy to Handle: The plastic material makes it incredibly lightweight, which is perfect when you're mixing large batches of dough or batter. The handle is a great addition—it gives me more control when pouring out contents without any spills, which has made a huge difference for me when baking or making dressings. Non-Slip Base: I didn’t expect this feature, but the non-slip base has been fantastic. It keeps the bowl firmly in place while I'm mixing, which is great for when I need both hands free to whisk vigorously or incorporate heavy ingredients. Durability: The plastic is pretty sturdy and, unlike glass or ceramic, it doesn’t feel like it could break if I drop it. It's perfect for a busy kitchen, especially with kids around.

I love the quality and size of this bowl. It is perfect for mixing and pouring things like cake batter, pancake mix. etc.. It is also microwave and dishwasher safe so very little cleanup required.

This is perfect for mixing batters that you pour into a pan. Love the spout. So much easier and less messy. The material is thick and durable. It should last a very long time.

I bought this "batter bowl" mainly because it was Nordic Ware, Made in USA. I prefer to buy Made in USA when I can. It seems to be very well made. The handle on it is sturdy and easy to grip. It has a rubberized ring on the bottom of the bowl which helps it to stay in one place if you only have one hand available to "stir" things. I only gave it four stars because I bought it for mixing formula for puppies that I am babysitting, and I wanted a bowl with a spout to pour the prepared formula into bottles. Well, that was an absolute failure! I tried pouring as slowly as possible and it simply poured over the entire width of the spout! I don't know how much formula I poured down the sink. With that having been said, I am sure it would probably be great for batter (which it is made for!) since you don't need to pour batter into a small container.

Very lightweight and I love the spot for easy pouring. Wish I got myself this way before! Does not bend and deform like thin plastic so it is very convenient to use

Great bowl. Deep enough to keep the mess inside the bowl when stirring. Really a nice lightweight yet durable mixing bowl

I received my bowl in just two days which was very nice. The look and everything was nice. The complaint I have is the rubber which should be on the bottom is missing so the bowl doesn’t grip the counter. I ordered two and one has it and the other doesn’t.

Great quality and large enough for a big batter. Not crazy about plastic but this has a nice lol with its ridges & pour spout. Nordic wear.

Great addition to bowls

I bought this because my glass measuring cup with a pour spout can get heavy. This plastic option seemed like a lighter alternative. Then it arrived. I had immediate second thoughts. It is white and items I heat are seldom white. I worried about stains because no matter how much money companies spend on marketing a research that suggests otherwise, I have never had a plastic item that resisted all stains and odor. My second concern was related to heating food products in the microwave in plastic. Just my opinion, but I've been told that the chemical make up of plastic, no matter how space age, changes in the microwave and aspects of the chemical chains can enter whatever contents are being heated. Is this true? I'm not a scientist but I do trust my glass measuring cup. I returned the plastic one.
