The kit feels solid and well-made
These tools worked great! I used the blue tie rod tool with a 1/2" breaker bar to remove the inner tie rods on my Nissan Titan. The entire job took me about two hours from start to finish, and I saved roughly $600 by doing it myself. The kit feels solid and well-made—definitely good quality for the price.

Easy to use
Was needing to replace inners and didn't like the tool available at the car part loan program. This tool appeared to be much easier to use, so I bought it. It worked out great, easy to use and was able to uninstall and reinstall / torque without any struggle. I'm a shade tree mechanic, when I took the car to get aligned, I showed my professional this set up. Fairly sure he now owns a set.

The one tool is worthless, but the 'muffler clamp' style worked great!
Like my title says, I quickly realized that the quirky looking blue tool is completely worthless. There was so much powder coating over the 'teeth', that there was no way it would ever grip anything, let alone a piece of metal (an inner tie rod) that is clearly made from far superior/harder metal. I even tried to run the corner of a file over the teeth, to clean out the blue powder coating(?), in the hopes that it would allow the teeth to be more effective. Nope. However, the one that looks like a muffler clamp was made from a much harder metal, and it even has sharp teeth that actually grip the inner tie rod firmly. I used this tool on the passenger side inner tie rod of a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan. Even though the one tool seems to be completely worthless, I would still purchase this exact 'kit' again, unless I found that OMT sells only the 'muffler clamp' styled one by itself at a lower cost(?) I still give this 5 stars because the one tool deserves it all by itself.

Decent one time use tool
Overall decent one time use tools. The biggest issue is the teeth being completely covered in powder coating which reducing the "biting" ability of the tool. If you buy buy this package for the blue smaller tool spend a few minutes wire brushing off the powder coating to increase bit of the tool and reduce the chances of slippage on the tie rod or damage to you hands.
