A Fantastic reading/craft lamp. Excellent light quality on both settings. Good build quality and very easy to construct.Very sturdy, will not be knocked over easily. Very well packaged and delivered on time. Would highly recommend.

This is a great light giving natural daylight for reading. I was so delighted with this quality product that I have ordered one for my wife. Only disappointment was it was £14 cheaper this time. The lamp comes in the makers box and is easy to assemble.

Firstly, prospective buyers may notice that under the headline "Frequently bought together", a 4 tube fluorescent bulb is shown. That bulb is not a match for this lamp. The light for this lamp is provided by an integral 12 watt LED. It has a life of 50,000 hours. Even if the lamp is used every single day for 5 hours, it will still last over 27 years. It has a useful lower setting which uses only 6 watts; this is very welcome given current electricity prices.The product requires assembly. It is actually fairly simple to put together, just handle the wires carefully.I have situated mine behind my sofa where it illuminates my reading matter perfectly. The base is heavy and very stable.I am very satisfied with the lamp, I should have bought one like this years ago. In fact I may buy another for use with my piano. If your eyes have seen better days, like mine, this is a "must" buy.

I was a little worried as I was spending a lot of money, for me. It is a brilliant light, I am so pleased. I like to knit & do not like the normal light bulbs as I cannot see properly.I did have a light with 4 different light settings but this one has a much bigger head & gives a fabulous light on either settings. I only tend to use the first setting as it is bright enough. So I have moved this elsewhere to use. I got frustrated going through all the settings to get to what I wanted. This one is only daylight.It was easy to put together & very sturdy, it’s not going to get knocked over. I love the size of the light head, yes it is a lot bigger than my previous one but the light difference is amazing. I highly recommend it.

This is a good lamp which is very bright but there is no dimming control and it could certainly do with one. It seems to be built out of fairly robust plastic and it's quite heavy and stable. Unfortunately it also buzzes on the both light settings, less so on the low setting which provides more than adequate illumination. Not bad for the price.
