Leyland Trade Heavy Duty Floor Paint - Slate 5L

Used in a laundry room to reduce potential issues with moisture from wet washing on spills. Seems great, easy to apply, good coverage, and now seems to be hard wearing. Was a little pungent when applying, so had to air out room for a few days.

Coverage was excellent - one 2.5l tin did 2 coats of a single garage floor.Drying time isn't quick, as it's not water based, but the result was excellent.It's hard wearing to cater for traffic from bikes, mowers, tools, etc.

Does exactly what is says on the tin, it's been down for about 6 weeks now and it's looking good. The application is key, I swept and swept the garage floor and left it for over a week before I even walk on it. I can see people rushing this, not getting every bit of dirt up and then walking on it when it's not fully cured - muppets! Follow the instructions and it goes on well, although I'd make sure my coverage was at least 10% less than what the tin said.

This product goes a long way, it's very easy to apply, looks nice and works well. However, no matter how many coats you do, it won't hold up to the tires of your car driving back and forth over it. I park my car in my garage every day, it only lasted a week before you start to see a flaking where your tires park. This is the third time buying it, as each year I do a fresh coat on my garage floor. Unfortunately I'm committed to it for a while.

Quality paint quality with great coverage. Drys quick with a nice natural colour good value.

How’s on well and good coverage but the colour was much lighter than advertised, more of a cadet blue that slate.
