AMT's quality is down
Since they don't seem to have my truck (an '88) in plastic model form, I got this one (a '92). I've built various model kits for decades, and I know good kits, and not so good kits. This one is sub-par in engineering. The main design, and parts are accurate, however, there was not a lot of thought put into part connections (where part tabs connect to other part's slots). AMT was never like this in the past. This kit is OK, and fairly decent if you want this particular model, however, they could have done a better job with it.

Awesome kit. Very detailed and simple to put together following the included instructions with model cement or e6000 adhesive. I used the body for a hobby grade RC build (scx24) and it worked out perfectly! Still have some finishing to do as can be seen from the photo. Will be purchasing more AMT kits in the future. Happy customer!

Expensive for what it is.. I was going to use it on my rc truck so comparing it to other rc bodies, it was comparable. Normally I wouldn't pay as much as I did... tempted to return it honestly.
