This was a near perfect fit out of the package very little adjustment needed for my boxer, I decided to try this pa particular harness because all the other ones were rubbing him raw around the neck and around the under arms this one does not seem to be bothering him as of yet it does have soft padding in the areas where the other harnesses were bothering him before it does have beefy stitching and comes with a very nice short handle around the neck area for more control if needed, which is reinforced and very strong buckles are beefy and strong. I definitely recommend this. The sizing chart is spot onIf I could give this a 10 star I would.

I bought this harness 4 years ago for my 80lb pit/German shepherd/lab mix. She is a PULLER on walks with a high pray drive. If we saw a cat or squirrel, she would all but take my arm off. I have used this vest every day on our walks, and it helps me control her so much better. Night and day honestly. This vest is seriously strong and the material and buckles are high quality. It also fits her perfectly and I love the bright orange for when we're walking at night. I think I've written one other Amazon review in my life, but I just had to for this harness. I will definitely be purchasing another one once this one finally decides to give out. 11/10!

I don’t usually give 5 stars but this thing is very well built and there was a lot of thought put into the design. I like that I have total control with the top handle or multiple options for attaching a lead. The large had to be cinched all the way down for my dog and he’s about 30 lbs so maybe a medium would have been better.

I have a 75 pound Staffy/tree walker coonhound mix, 10 months old for reference. I have the strap adjusted down almost as small as they will go besides around his belly area. I do love that I'm finally able to walk my self appointed sled dog now without being drug down the road like I'm made of paper. my only complaint is that when using the front clip it pulls the harness to the left or right a great deal. I have found this to be an issue with most harnesses though. This one is made well and the clips are really great. I would definitely recommend or buy again for any strong dogs. I'd say it's definitely overkill for smaller dogs or dogs that don't pull really bad. With it being a big bulky harness it won't be comfortable for them to wear for too long and could lead to chaffing under the armpit area.

This is the only one (xl) that would go around my 122 lb lab. It is tight with the straps all the way out. Also it is longer.

I'm very pleased with how the vest looks AND fits. It's made with really tough materials, but doesn't appear to rub. Once I use it I will update. So far so good.

This fit my 116# Shepherd mix very well. He's a pretty stout boy. I like that it has a hand hold and Velcro for added patches. Very easy to put on and take off.

This harness is sturdy and well made. Easy to get on and off our dog and he looks comfortable while wearing it. He weighs about 60lbs. and the large fits him perfect after adjusting the straps. I love the two different hook locations and the handle it has. I like the fact that it has reflective lining for night time visibility. With this harness I feel overall better control over Shiro and his safety.
