Worked perfectly to turn my 2 monitor speakers Bluetooth

Bought to add Bluetooth support to an older amp. I was surprised by how small and light it is. It pairs fine to my iPad, and audio quality is acceptable (maybe a tiny bit of background noise, only noticeable when not playing anything). There is a small amount of latency but it isn't bad enough to bother me when watching TV and movies. It came with a UK power adapter, but the power cable has a standard USB A plug on one end so you can probably run it off any standard charger. The two slight negatives for me are: 1. The unit is so light and the volume knob detents are so stiff that you can't turn the knob without holding the base with your other hand. 2. The volume knob isn't a potentiometer that adjusts the output of the DAC; instead it's a rotary encoder that sends volume up/down commands to the paired device, and it adjusts the volume by one step for about a quarter of a turn, so going all the way from minimum to maximum volume requires you to spin it several revolutions.

This device is great. I have it plugged into a high-end HIFI and when the streaming source is bluetooth 5+ (recent iPhone, for example, not an old laptop!) from a service like Tidal the sound quality is close enough to CD to hardly matter (at least to my old ears). Bluetooth 2 sources sound flat and lack separation by comparision, but that is the source not the device. It remains stable when in use and is a breeze to connect to.

This couldn't have been easier to set up and my music sounds great. I can go far away from it despite thick walls. My one minor complaint is that I wish it would be on continuous standby or switch on with my amp because I have a remote for the amp but still have to go up to it to turn it on.

Product works well but doesn't have an on/off switch. So you have to unplug it when you want to turn it off, quite an inconvenience. It does have an automatic off when not used but this seems to only work when it is out of reach or disconnected from any bluetooths it's paired with after a couple hours. Apart from this works well.
