This is fun to play with. I bought it for myself because it is calming just to sit and play with sand. I do have to point out that there isn’t a lot of sand in the package. I’ve included photos to show you the sizes of the box and contents. The box was a lot smaller than I thought it would be (8”x9”). There is only enough sand to fit in your hand and you can’t really do much with it. I bought a 3 pound bag of kinetic beach sand and added it to what you see in the pictures and that filled up the box so I definitely recommend getting the additional bag of sand. But overall I am very happy with this purchase once I added the extra sand. I would recommend this for kids and adults.

This set was really convenient and easy to clean up. The box opens to a mini sand box with multiple tools for little hands. This is a great sensory activity and it kept my 20 month old occupied for about 30 minutes, it could have lasted longer but it was bedtime. The only down side is that i would have wanted one more pack of sand to fill the little box all the way to make better molds and prints with the tools.

Bought my kids each a box to take on a trip during the COVID shut down. They had a blast. However, they wanted more sand as time went on so I purchased a 3 pound bag to add to it. Same exact brand and description BUT when I combined the two, it became very sticky. This stuff now gets stuck on everything- arms, fingers, tots, carpet, etc. and it clogs the vacuum. I bought each a silicone mat thinking it wouldn’t end up on the floor but I had to literally scrape the sand off the mat. I had some sand left over (different brand) that was too dry so I ended up mixing some of that into the box sand and seems to be a little better. Bottom line: buy the box but not a refill.

Really cute little kit, my son loves and I like it too! Only issue is it does not come with hardly any sand. Its avery small pack. I purchased and extra bag of sand and that was plenty. So if you buy this, I reccomend getting an additional bag of the sand!

Got this for my 2 and a half year old (though it does clearly state ages 3+, I do not allow her to play with this alone) and she loves it! The pieces that come with it seem much sturdier than I had expected and definitely felt it was a great value for the money. I love how it can all be played with and stored right in the box! Definitely makes clean up super easy! This is a smaller version of others they have so there is a small amount of sand, just enough to try it out to see if your child loves it. I purchased an extra bag of sand so she can add a little more to it. Awesome sensory tool!

We bought this on a lightening sale for our 27 month old daughter for Christmas, not thinking much of it. Of all the things she got, this has been her most played with toy! She’s had it for two months now and still wants to play with it every other day, and for a good amount of time too. The sand has held up well - hasn’t dried out as playdough does. The pieces/tools it comes with are made of thick plastic and very sturdy. She loves them! And they’re very easy for her to use on her own. The cardboard box is made of cardboard- that’s the only thing I wish were different. She popped the plastic window out of the front and it doesn’t seal closed like a plastic container would. Excellent set!

Gave them as party favors (they were on sell for $7 and some change) for a kid party and when I say those kids lit up when they received them it was a great experience. And they all loved them, my daughter already had a large one but she was still excited to receive one as well. Great for kids and keeps them busy for hours! I would suggest buying some refill sand (which I did) because not much comes with it but I was able to give all the kids an extra half of cup of sand to go with their kit which worked out well!

If your kid loves kinetic sand this is very useful. The tools are easy and fun to use and it keeps the sand in one place.
