AdamasOV1818E Light (.012-.053 ga) Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings

High Price but good tone. Fitted to an Applause by Ovations shallow bowl. Tone great but has affected the action and speed of the neck.

Nice sounding strings. It's a shame they're so expensive..... I don't know why.They're not good if you have a magnetic sound hole pickup. This puzzled me but I read that they have a higher copper content in the windings. This seems to shield the steel core more than standard 92/8 phosphor bronze.Fortunately I also have an undersaddle piezo pickup which worked perfectly with the strings.

Je possède une Ovation Elite 1991, depuis plusieur années au Québec, je ne suis plus capable de trouver les Adamas 1818. Il y a eu une interruption de fabrication, inportation ou autre raisons je ne sais pas Mais, heureusement cet achat et ma guitare Ovation sonne comme elle le devrait. Ces cordes sont les seules qui m ont donné satisfaction. À mettre sur votre Ovation et rien d'autre

These are the only strings I use on my ovations. Great sounding and I can hear when it's time to change them. Put on new strings and I love my Ovations again. Don't like them on my Martin or my Fenders, but nothing works better, longer on my Plastic Girls.
