Written in a clear, yet engaging style, the book invites us to engage with astrology first by understanding that, “everything…exists in the oneness,” and then by guiding us through a carefully nuanced psychological description of the essence qualities of each of the signs and houses. Finally, Lambert guides us through a sample reading with the intention of helping “people understand themselves better.”The book and Lambert’s approach to astrology are simple, yet brilliant; uncomplicated, yet comprehensive.Having had several one-on-one readings with Lambert, her writing reflects her innocent, playful, charming personality as well as the depth and breadth of her understanding of astrology. She has a benign curiosity about her which gives her the ability to “tell it like it is” in a way that is relatable, applicable to everyday life and hopeful.I highly recommend this book as it offers valuable insights and perspectives on what Socrates meant when he urged us to “know thyself.” Through her writing, Lambert teaches us about ourselves and our place in the world so we can be our very best version.This is a MUST-READ!

I love that the theology of astrology is broken down to basics and built upon from there. I had a familiarity with the astrological bodies but this book along with the free YouTube video lectures I am finally understanding astrology.

Pointless audiobook without printed materials.

I'm an Alison fan mainly because she explains things more clearly, interestingly, and relevantly than anyone I know. She takes that one square foot of electromagnetic geography you were born on and shows you the blueprint for your life that it is. I see why she's popular with BBC, other talk shows, and other astrologers--she's got a calm, charming, funny, kind way of turning on the light that makes the learning of astrology and the deeper understanding of yourself feel possible. I had gotten no further than houses and signs, but her book tells the story of astrology differently enough to be startling and engaging, while being profoundly informative. She has a natural intuitive feel for being a psychological astrologer, and I'm grateful she is one.
