Simple solution for the shakiness
This L-shape metal piece came as a pleasant surprise. The tripod adapter fits right into where the front screw that holds the two tubes together. Once installed, I leave the adapter on permanently so I can use the binocular without mounting on a tripod for general viewing, and only mount the binocular on the tripod when viewing the stars at night. In summary, this simple solution does work, and work every well. (It so simple, so it seemed to be overpriced--however this is not really a complaint.)

These Binoculars are HEAVY but this adapter fixed that.
I've had these binocular's for many years and often pick them up (they are clear and great view). However I soon put them down because they are so heavy. I started looking for way to fit them on my tripod and found this at Amazon. Now my Bluebirds are so close I could touch them--especially since I have my hands free. Great product, great shipping.

It works well, no complaints!
I use this with my Nikon 7245 Action Extreme 10x50 EX All-Terrain Binoculars and a monopod for stargazing. I don't know if I would trust it with any binoculars over 3lbs -- and even then that is due to concerns about the average monopod adapter..

Does exactly what it's supposed to do.
The adapter is sturdy and it holds the binocs securely. Great for viewing for extended periods and eliminating extraneous motion.

Loose Holder for Binoculars
I bought these not knowing if they would work for my Nikon Aculon A211 binocs, it does fit as intended, however, it doesn't hold them super tight. They always move if you press your eyes against the lenses, or grab the sides. It doesn't lock tight, and that is why they probably don't have them listed on the Nikon site anymore. What they suggest now is a sleeve that the entire binocs fit in to and you velcro them in. Probably a better solution, but it looked too bulky so I went with this. Happy for the most parts just don't touch them when you are looking at something and they work good.

Screw slips
The knob on the screw slips so I can never get it really tight. They have always behaved this way and I never new whether it was intentionally designed that way. From reading the other reviews I suspect mine is a lemon. It works just enough that I can get by the way it is. I won't be spending another $20 to buy a new one. Can't remember where I bought it so I can't return it.

Adaptateur jumelle/tripode
Bien conçu, je l'ai posé sans probleme sur le tripode de mon appareil photo (acheté en ... 1977).Rien à redire.
