Dreadful. An absolute con!! The picture showed a beautiful box filled with 3 blocks of marzipan. When it arrived there was only 1 block stuffed into a small cardboard box. So I paid nearly £13 for one small block of marzipan which didn't even come in a decent box. The marzipan better be nice!!Don't buy it - they take us for fools - these people!!

This truly is the best marzipan in the world, without doubt. ( I speak as an aficionado!) I prefer it without the chocolate covering which changes the taste. Note the first (largest) ingredient is "almonds" not "sugar" like most other brands. It is not sickly sweet. However, for a small bar of 125g I do think £6.50 is excessively expensive. Deducted one star for this. There was in the past a larger size marzipan bar without chocolate covering which may be better value. If you are putting this on a Christmas cake, I would use a cheaper version marzipan, as the difference won't be noticeable. However, I eat this straight, rather like a bar of chocolate, then you can really taste the quality and flavour.
