As soon as I saw this voodoo doll, I just had to have it. Not because I wanted to dabble in the dark arts or anything, but because it was just too cute to pass up. The doll is made from a cotton fabric that looks like burlap and the embroidery has been done really well. The button eye is sewn on tightly, so there's no risk of it falling off.The voodoo doll comes with a long piece of twine, several needles with beads glued on, and spell cards that are printed on a thick and glossy cardstock. I don't actually believe that the spells will work, but it's a fun gag gift to give to friends who are into that sort of thing.The only complaint I have is with the little coffin that the doll comes in. It's made of a thin balsa wood that breaks easily. Mine broke on the first day that I had it, near the cutouts. For the price ($34.99 at the time of my review), I expected the wood to last longer than a day before breaking.
