Too fragile for a keychain. My Wallet nut seems to work fine inside a wallet (less wear and tear), but this key chain one stopped working and I went out and got a new CR2016 battery to find that it does not set in the case properly when it closes. The parts internally shift and it is too cheaply made to be a reliable key finder. Moving up to the cube which hopefully is better

Major fail...Tried to put it on my dogs collar and she was able to reach it and swollow a piece:/ lasted four days.

I put this tracker in my wallet and it has kept me from losing my wallet more than once!I also use the larger Nut Trackers for my car keys, 2nd key ring and in my guitar cases. They have kept me from loosing my keys more than once. And the larger trackers can find your phone, too.
