Loved the trilogy!
A riveting end to the trilogy. The Magician's series is one of the fewer fantasy novels I have loved. The books take a different take on magic and fantasy. The character development is strong and the protagonist, Quentin, is simply not conventional.

SUPERB ENDING TO A RIVETING SERIES!
The Magicians trilogy is the New York Times bestselling science fiction urban fantasy novel about a young man practicing magic in the real world. The Magician's Land is the stunning conclusion to the trilogy, following The Magicians and The Magician King. Author Lev Grossman continues the magical tale of Quentin Coldwater, and over a period of three books the character has gone through dramatic transformation. As with the previous books in the trilogy, The Magician’s Land is also full of wit and humor.Though the trilogy started with a bang with The Magicians, the pace and brilliance slightly dipped in the second installment, The Magician King. However, the third and final book in the trilogy amply makes up for the lackluster The Magician King and is the best and strongest of the three, and is bound to entertain and absorb readers. Characters like Plum, Eliot, Julia, Alice and Janet are beautifully planted into the story and Quentin succeeds in becoming a master magician. In The Magician’s Land, Lev Grossman crafted an incredibly superb story in which he tries to blend the surreal with the real as the drama comes to a fitting close. In a world full of possibility, Grossman’s characters come to life, drenching every page of the book with magic, wry wit and mayhem, making it a delight-a-page. Readers are most likely to enjoy one important thread in the story which involves Quentin being drafted to be a part of a heist to steal a mysterious briefcase for a talking blackbird. This comes after he’s cast out of Fillory and a short stint as a teacher at Brakebills. All in all, The Magician's Land is the consummation of the trilogy, and while others are entitle to their own opinions, I’m inclined to believe that it not only brings the whole series to a thumping ending but contributed to making it one of the best trilogies ever.
