Short break in, warm feet!
They were pretty stiff upon arrival, but only took about a week of 10 hour days to break in. After that, they are quite comfortable. They keep my feet warm when standing on concrete in 20 degF and breathe enough to prevent a lot of sweating. I've only had them a few weeks now, but at this point I would buy these again.

Boot made small and narrow
This is a real nice looking boot,I purchased it for my son.He normally wears a size 9.5.The boots were too tight and not quite big enough.I am going to try a 10-2EE.He really liked the boot,It looks very well made.He was happy with the boot, just too small....I will post review when I receive the 10-2EE.Hoping it fits!!ordered the 10-2EE,fits perfect, real nice boot!!!

They are great when in other areas which aren't so cold
I work in a refrigerated warehouse and wear these boots everyday while there. I probably would not have bought Ariat boots if I had talked to a few of my co-workers earlier. The rubber that the soles are made of hardens up and becomes a little slick when in the main part of the freezer which ranges from -5 to -20 F. A couple of my co-workers I talked to also had issues with the soles in the extreme cold. They are great when in other areas which aren't so cold. On the plus side I haven't had any issues with my feet getting cold.

Tower Climbers Beware!!!
The boots are constructed with the great quality Ariat boots are known for. The insulation is enough to make your feet sweat at 20 F so that is great! However, if you Climb Towers they are extremely uncomfortable...at least mine are. The only padding on the back of the heel is a leather strap. My feet are bleeding after the first day of wearing them. I will try placing an extra sock in each heel for padding. But I shouldn't have to for such expensive/high quality boots...
