Good flavor, tastes a little different than typical Colombian coffees (don’t get me wrong, Colombian coffee is great) this I’d good, different, more caffeine!

These whole beans rival the flavor of every other bean that I've tried. Rich flavor, low acid-absolutely delicious. I grind the beans and use for espresso or coffee. I completely recommend this brand. I originally purchased these beans in Vietnam, and became hooked since. Thank goodness, I can now get this brand on Amazon. Warning, the beans are strong and can illicit palpitations.

This is what coffee tastes like in Vietnam, especially if you make it properly with a phin: smooth, chocolatey, and delicious, but without any artificial flavors (be on the lookout for artificial flavors in many instant "Vietnamese" coffees). This is by far the best I've tasted.

The Success 1 Whole Bean Coffee bag is well made with a thick mylar type liner, and a zip-tie pull embedded in the top to open an air tight vacuum seal with a good ziplock top to re-close. I brewed the fine grounds with a glass French Press and a stainless steel percolator that can also be used for a pour over brew. This coffee has a smooth extraordinary sophisticated high end cafe taste without bitterness when served hot or with ice served cold black, with milk or cream. It's not overly dark in roast or too high in caffeine for my liking. Halfway through the cups, it inspired me for long music sessions and helped guide me to compose a short instrumental song. I would definitely like to buy this whole bean coffee again for the price I paid. It arrived very promptly after ordering, at least a day ahead of the other items.
