Well made unit but a bit tricky to work on a Mac i think its now working as no none message appears.

Hard Drive has crashed after a month of use. We have tried date recovery software to gain access and recover the data on hard drive. No software has been able to access the drive. Also, when the drive is plugged in to the laptop the File Explorer becomes unresponsive, and my screen goes black and we then have to restart the laptop. May be I've been unlucky and received a bad hard drive, but something doesn't seem right.... Sadly I'm just outside of my 30 day return and will have to eat the loss. UPDATE... Weve taken the hard drive out of the plastic case to find out it's a Toshiba drive inside with a date of 29th November 2017. That just seems to be a very long time to be sold as new.

works as expected. not heavy, relatively small , decent storage, works with most items- iPhone/Imac, windows PC, Linux (you might need a driver) and android. the transfer speed is quite slow but that is to be expected. good for storing documents and pictures Note: does get very hot.

Instructions are in small print. But once you read it and see that it's easy to set up. Everything works ok. Fast delivery. Handy to have minimum set up. Small size, great for slipping into laptop bag.
