We’re at that time of year where clothes are just more difficult to dry or take too long, so I hunted out this Suredri heat pod. It fits exactly over my standard clothes airer, it’s efficient and heats up quickly. The actual unit is well made and looks like it will stand the test of time. I’m on my own so I don’t have masses of washing, but the things I’ve already used it for were dry in an hour including a couple of Borg fleece type garments. I’d recommend this 100%

It is really good for drying lightweight items but no good for towels otherwise I would have given it a 5. The ends of clothes do get missed and are damp. Great for bedding or blankets which are difficult to dry in winter months.

I am so pleased with this. It is easy to assemble and set up and doesn't take up too much space. I have used the different settings for different types of washing and all work well. The only downside is that I have to get down low to see the dial to switch it on and off to set the timer as the lettering is very faint. This has been very helpful while the weather has been so wet these past few weeks. Good value for money.

Does what it says. Full load washing dry in less than 3 hours. Well impressed. Frame a bit fiddly to set up but not difficult. Easy to use and warms the room up lovely. Definately satisfied with this product

No. This didn't really please me very much at all. Which is sad because it was delivered quickly at a price I was happy with. I had read reviews in the press and really wanted an airer/dryer for light clothing (socks,undies etc) A bit fiddly to put together, but not impossible. I used it twice. The first time on various temperature settings. The second on a 4kg fully spun dry light load. (No towels or sheets or anything thick or heavy). 3 hours at setting 3, happily on the Sunday half price period. The consumption was light, around the 25p per hour mark as far as I could see. After 3 hours, fleece socks were dry, some cotton underwear still had a bt of damp and cotton socks were not ever ready to air. Another issue is, although it's a neat little package, the tube has to be stored, or detached (not sure how long that would last being taken on and off) and the very efficient cover is heavy and a bit unwieldy. So it's not just a matter of popping it in a cupboard; the whole thing had to be put in a plastic crate to keep it safe. Mostly, yes, it's an airer, but how efficient an airer, I'm not sure. To have items aired is to have them ready to store in drawers etc , and this didn't really convince. It's not a dryer, I quote from one national newspaper : 'Minky’s pod system is a damp-blitzing machine. Even on its lowest 360W setting, it was one of the fastest dryers in my tests...' Won't be trusting them again.

Easy to set up, fitted perfectly over my existing 3 tier Minky airer and really speeds up drying process during these colder months when I cannot put it outside. The unit does make sound as its blows out the hot air so if you are in the same room you are aware of it being on but its not so loud you cannot hear anything else

It's easy to assemble, and takes little room up,obviously you use your own airer. I found the control knob almost impossible for me to turn as they are very very stiff. On first use I had to ask my hubbie to turn it for me and the control details are very tiny so you need glasses on to read the dial. The drying performance is good on 2.5/3hr setting. However it could do with a pause button so you can move the clothes around without having to turn it off everytime. You do need to move clothes around frequently. Clothes dry great without creases so no need or little ironing. It's not perfect but good for the price! Doesn't use a lot of electricity either.

Awesome wee tool, I was really struggling getting backed up with washing because drying on a rack was taking ages, this has been such a relief I can get through 3 loads a day easy. Would really recommend, it has a variety of settings, its nice and compact and really affordable for what you get!
