I've been using the ESR MagSafe Car Charger for over a year now, and it's been a dependable companion for my daily commutes. The magnetic hold remains strong, keeping my iPhone secure even after extensive use. Fast charging has been a consistent feature, proving especially useful on longer drives.The versatility of dashboard and windshield mounting options has been great for adjusting to different vehicles and finding optimal viewing angles. It's worked well with my iPhone, and I'm glad it's compatible with newer models too.After a year of regular use, I did encounter an issue when the nut snapped. This happened outside the 1-year warranty period, which was disappointing. However, I was genuinely impressed by the company's customer service response. Despite being out of warranty, they quickly sent a replacement part at no cost. This level of support well beyond the warranty period significantly boosted my confidence in the product and the company's commitment to customer satisfaction.The charging speed has remained consistent throughout the year, though it's naturally not as fast as some wired options. While the magnetic alignment took some getting used to initially, it became second nature over time.In conclusion, the ESR MagSafe Car Charger has proven to be a reliable, long-lasting solution for in-car wireless charging. Bought for my son to use in his car and it works perfectly. The sucker had excellent sticking power and stuck to the windshield first time and was not coming back off easily.The cable is a little short if you have a bigger car and what this on the right hand side instead of the centre, but the cable did stretch fine in my sons corsa. Just something to be aware of if you have a bigger car, you might need to get a longer usb-a to usb-c cable (1.5m or 2m, the one provided is 1m).I can’t comment on the speed of the charger and it would be unfair to do so as we are using a cheap usb charger which I think is 5v 1amp so will need to look at updating that. But it does charge and the phone (12 pro) sticks to the charger magnetically perfectly fine and doesn’t budge.Son is very happy with it, it’s sturdy and once the phone is on there, it doesn’t move about going over bumps etc.

I bought a Quadlock case, mount and the wireless adapter that was needed for the P8P. Great stuff, but the one thing that all the current mag chargers suffer from, is there coils are in the wrong place. The P8 (and from what I have read, the P7 too) has a charging coil that is offset. It's slightly further south of the G, on the back of the phone.ESR has addressed this situation (currently, there is only one company that provides the correct case, which is Mous) by providing a separate MagSafe that sticks to the back of a phone case. It works. Chargers at the speed you need, given you provide the required port speed.The one setback this mount has, is that it runs VERY hot. Given the current climate, no problem, but come summer, I'm sure this could be a problem. We'll see.Thank you though, ESR, for providing a practical and cheaper alternative. Mous, like Quadlock, expect us to spend over £100 for a case and mount.

Good product

I've has this for over 18 months now. Took it to greece during a heatwave and this thing stuck to the window like its life depended on it. Usually, the suckers fall off with high heat, but this one did not.The cable could be a little longer for some cars, but its fine for mine.Charging is good for a car charger!

The sticky bit literally failed on first use. I’m not a sausage I know how to install correctly, it’s a waste of money. The product works great but doesn’t stick well. And that’s the whole point.

The magnet strength is very good however, if you have a cover on your phone without a magnet built in, it does not hold. I opted to buy a mag lock phone case just to be safe. Magnet is so strong nearly pulled the holder off at one point when removing the phone.Fast charger works automatically and holder can be used with or without. Charger stopped when phone became too hot, so fail safe worked.Great quality, and super sturdy. Used for over a year and only stopped using when I bought a new car which had navigation and CarPlay built in.

Easy to install on window or dashboard.It looks great too, holds the phone extremely well.Highly recommended this
