Should I be excited about safety pins? No, but I love this little kit with the assorted sizes. I finally got to the point where I had only a few of the right size and who knows where those ended up? Everything is right in the box, easy to locate and get what you need. The product itself is not the heavy duty type but for general household use, they're great. Nice product, great price. Very sturdy, not easy to bend with your fingers at all, easy to open, thinner than the paper clips I found at my local Staples, can be cut using a good wire cutter used for construction, love the size varietyI used this to open a very mini masterlock I lost the key to (COD Tri Cycle or Tri Circle 262 Padlock). I used a Youtube tutorial. I decided to use a medium sized safety pin and I inserted it into the keyhole after cutting off the pin plate and making both ends roughly the same size.I inserted the pin at the leftmost and rightmost ends of the hole. It didn't work at first and no matter how I pushed the pin won't go fully in the lock until only the curl at the end was there. I tried pushing the pin legs closer to each other at the halfway point of the insert hole and when I pushed, the pin went fully in and the lock clicked open.Note: using this to open a masterlock with a key hole will work, but your masterlock will be done for good! Mine won't close!

The safety pins are decent quality. The only complaint I have is the plastic container is a lil flimsy. The sides get gaps and not necessarily because there is a pin in the way. I will put these in a different container.

Recently went to a convention and really needed pins for almost everyone’s cosplay they were amazing quality and good with penetrating the fabric. I’ve also been using them to fix my jeans that are too long on me. They are definitely worth your money especially since it brings a lot of variety in sizes and they have different sizes that are thicker than others.

I was concerned these would be flimsy but so far they’ve held up great!
