Blue Star Anti-Itch Medicated Ointment 2 oz

This is by far the best ointment I've ever purchased. After using the bathroom shower I noticed a small red mark on my leg that was super itchy. Thinking nothing of it I left it alone. Well after a week of not knowing what it was I started looking up skin conditions. Originally thinking maybe I had eczema which my father and grandfather had I purchased a cream for 12 dollars and nothing happened in fact the rashes began spreading on my legs arms stomach back everywhere. So I finally figured out that I caught a fungal infection that was highly contagious. From the gym shower being dirty. I bought 100s of dollars worth of creams. Everything I could find in the aisles in my grocery store and pharmacy. Nothing worked and it was all very pricey. Seeing as I had the infection through my whole body I was going through 50 bucks a week on creams. Nothing worked. I found this ointment online and decided after looking at the label and website for the product not to mention the amazing reviews. It's half the price of the creams I bought and had double the ounces. Well. I got it in the afternoon and put it on immediately. The itching stopped completely. Then I noticed that my skin turned really red like it was irritated but it wasn't itchy so I left it alone and after about 35 minutes the redness disappeared along with the redness of the rashes. I woke up the next morning with lighter rashes. Hardly noticeable. I took my shower and applied it again and the redness of course came back for about 30 minutes then I went about my day. That night I took a shower and applied it again. Needless to say. It cleared them up. It took about 2 days to significantly remove them but I kept going for a week to make sure they were gone forever. This one small tub of cream it the best purchase I've made in a while. I'm going to recommend to everyone I know and I no longer fear my gym having this gem to save me from scary skin infections.

I've had an itchy rash for over a year, almost certain it's discoid eczema, but I've had no official diagnosis. We ruled out ringworm, b/c no other family members have contracted it, & it has contained itself to my lower legs. I would scratch until it bled, but it was impossible to ignore. I seemed to maintain the rash for the past several months with homemade bar soap, coconut oil, & apple cider vinegar, but I still had the occasional itchy flare ups. I've been using this for 2 weeks, once daily, after my shower. First I use coconut oil over the entire area then apply Blue Star directly to the spots & then spread to the surrounding areas. The first application, I did have irritation & stinging, but I have not had that since. I DO NOT ITCH & SCRATCH ANYMORE. The specific rash spots are so close to gone. I did skip one day, b/c I was in a hurry, & I started to feel the itching, but it did not lead to the terrible itching. I'm predicting I will need this for another 4 weeks to completely be rid of whatever this rash is, but I will keep Blue Star on hand, just in case. I prefer natural remedies, so I typically wouldn't use a product like this b/c of the petrolatum, but this situation felt desperate. I don't regret using it.

I bought this for my mother who suffers from the dual problems of a severe poison ivy allergy and a severe inability to spot poison ivy. She used this to help with a particularly bad outbreak that was keeping her up at night; this really helped her with the symptoms. She said it was far better than anything else she had tried. ***** UPDATE *****I felt like I should update after my mother had another severe outbreak of poison ivy that this didn't help much with. She also said that this is not strong enough to help when she gets outbreaks from Brazilian Pepper. However, it does help with her more minor rashes (smaller poison ivy outbreaks, for instance). So I still recommend it, just not as highly as I originally did. I think for the bad outbreaks you really need to get something with steroids from the doctor -- over the counter stuff just doesn't seem to be powerfully enough to help people like my mother who are extra susceptible to poison ivy.

My husband has been having foot problems for years. Blisters that would form on the bottom of his soles. Extremely itchy. Steroid creams and ointments only gave slight relief. Fungal pill did nothing as it wasn't a fungus. He went over and over to the doctor his entire life. The problem would come and go. When he was a child in Panama they even tried tar and other various ideas and medicine man remedies. My husband saw a commercial for this stuff and really he's now 45 years old and has been suffering with this for his whole life. But within just a day he could tell this was different. Within the week his feet were back to 100%. So yeah he had me buy 4 more jars.

I had a black toenail. Because it was black, I assumed that I had hit my foot and damaged the nail (I do a lot of gardening, plus all my house cleaning). When I noticed that the black in the nail did not grow away as it should have, I used some of this ointment (the rest of a jar I had had in the house since I don't know when -- yes, it keeps well that long) and that cleared the "whatever it was" in less than a week. I ordered another jar so as never to be without it. It is good for the hands too (if you use pure bleach to clean your fingernails after each gardening session), but then use it at night and wear cotton gloves, so as not to stain your sheets.

Works the best will get rid ring worm and will work all work for they put you on this ship because you were eczema.
