Great plug-and-play RS-232 with Windows 11 support
Just works, Windows 11 recognized it and downloaded the appropriate drivers. Shows as COM3 on my Dell laptop. Works with ADP for transferring files to Apple ][ as well.

Who uses DVD drive anymore?
This one came with a mini DVD, there was no instruction as to what is in it, nor do I have a DVD Rom drive on my Laptop, so can't install the driver, and I am returning it. There should have been better communication in the packing (there was no packing slip) and clearly should have been informed of the DVD beforehand.

Nice quality cable with good signal
I use this cable for connecting and monitoring an old UPS. Quick plug and play on Windows without the need to install drivers from the product CD (mine was accidentally damaged, no fault of the supplier). Not sure about Tech Support which wasn't required or requested (reason for 3 stars). I also liked the soft, almost elastic, feel of the cable which makes easy handling, installation and cable management.

Replace old COM1 port with USB cable
Since I was replacing an old compoter COM1 port, I was insure that this would work. I plugged in the cable and rebooted the computer. I inserted the cd and ran the install program. The windows 7 showed the canle as COM3. I started the old program and found the setup to change the setial port to COM3 and the old program worked perfectly. Now I can buy a new computer since I know the old COM1 serial port on the oldmotherboard is no longer needed.
