Love it!
Having only ever used a traditional mop and bucket before I am now totally in love with this product! It's so easy to use, I don't need a bucket I just put it in the bath for a rinse. It doesn't soak the floors and it picks up way more than my old mop did. The floors get cleaned but dry so much faster than with my old mop. It took me maybe 30 seconds to figure out how to twist it initially but it really isn't difficult. It also glides nicely under furniture. My floors are all old Victorian floorboards with gaps and irregularities and I was worried the Vileda would catch and snag at places but so far not a problem at all.

Brilliant. A bit tricky to activate the mechanism the first time, then it swoosh around.
This object is brilliant. However, it took me about ten minutes to make the squeezing mechanism work for the first time. I was doing exactly what indicated in the images, and nothing was happening. Not rocket science at all, it simply was stuck.I then tried to "help it", closing the leaflets myself. I had to repeat the action a few times and it suddenly began working. I have seen that a few people had a problem with activating it, so I would just suggest to not despair and be a bit more patient. You will be rewarded with a perfectly squeezing mop!SoNEGATIVE:-it might not start working straight away and needs a bit of fiddling.POSITIVE:-When you have that mechanism working....it works amazingly. It really squeezes the mop! I tried squeezing it myself after it, and I got just a few drops out.-Easy to clean under the sink or shower bit of the bath (that's what I used)-The 360 rotation works really well.-It looks sturdy and with good weight and height.-The soft bit to hold it is very appreciated. I thought it was excessive but actually gives a good grasp.-I really like that it can be easily separated into its shorter components. Perfect for small cupboards ;)OTHER-I tried to use it to give a bit of a clean to the carpet. It is a bit tricky as it is not designed for that so it flips. I managed to do it keeping the mop bar almost at 90° with respect to myself. It took a while but it did a nice job.-I would make sure to properly wash it and then dry it out after use to avoid smells due to it being left damp, but this applies to all cleaning mops and towels.

Vileda EasyTwist Flat Mop
It is an excellent mop. If the pad comes loose at some point it is fairly easy to re-connect it. It uses loops to attach to the head. You need a mop bucket with enough space to accommodate its relatively long mop head. To squeeze liquid out, you hold the handle at the two handling points and turn the bottom one. The mop's head screws up. To release it, just press the button near the bottom of the handle.

CLICK CLICK CLICK - BOSH!
A great mop if you're VERY careful.Build quality is second to non and that rotating head makes it easy to get into those smaller spaces (up the side of the toilet, down the side of the fridge) but sadly the design is a bit flakey... Using the mop is easy, but when you release the twist catch you get covered with splash back... Click, click, click, trigger BOSH! Not great when you're using bleach on your floors. I've taken to wringing mine out in the bath tub, whilst I'm hiding around the side of the shower screen. Hopefully the trigger mechanism will soften with use and not spring back so harsh. Wrings out a treat though! You may struggle to find a bucket wide enough to dip the mop into. I picked up a wide bucket from Sainsbury's and I'm still having to do the ol' left dip/right dip action.Removing the mop head for cleaning is pretty easy once you've got the hang of it.So, if it broke would I buy another one?Hmmm maaaybe, I'm a bit on the fence... I'd probably look at going back to an old fashioned mop to be fair.

Makes cleaning so easy !
I just wish this had been around years ago, I would place this twist mop as one of the best things I've ever bought. Simple to assemble and use, floors are cleaned in no time and there's no waiting around for wet floors to dry ! I like to have a bucket with me rather than having to keep going to a sink to rinse and squeeze the mop out, and this mop is rather wide to go straight in, but I've found that with a good rectangular bucket you can partly twist the mop, wet the cloth and then squeeze it out completely before using.

Waste of money
While the mop is e4asy to assemble, the twist/wring mechanism is not only not intuitive it also jammed completely on first use. Having wrung the mop cloth out over the sink and pressed the button to release it nothing happened and the mop remained jammed until, eventually, we cut the mop cloth tabs at each end.The whole thing felt like it could fall apart at any time and the key parts which take the pressure of wringing out the cloth are made of plastic. It felt as if they would snap off at any moment. This was particularly true of the rotating bar in the mop head which twists the mop cloth up to wring it out.Definitely not recommended.Rather than go through all the process of sending it back and trying to get a refund when we are trying to maintain social distance during these difficult times (from post office, carrier etc), we have thrown it away and regarded the cost as a complete waste of money.

How good is this mop?
I bought this as a replacement for my Vileda sponge mop that I have had for years, as recently, the glue that holds the sponge in place has been coming away after a few washes; I wasted many sponges due to this problem (they are not cheap). This mop is brilliant!! It took me a few attempts to work out the best way to rinse and wring it; I needed to watch a few YouTube videos too. After a few attempts, I worked out that the best thing was to partially twist it in the bucket to rinse it, (my bucket isn’t long enough), fully wring it, and then take it out and open it whilst near the floor, to avoid splashing. I haven’t washed the cloth pad yet, so I can’t comment on the quality, but it is 100% better than the sponge mop. The floor dries really quickly and I feel I get a much better clean. If anyone can recommend a rectangular bucket with the right dimensions so that I can dip the whole head in and out to rinse it, that would be great; even better if Voleda can make one to fit!!
