The media could not be loaded. Having wanted a hood dryer, I researched several of the items on Amazon and found this to be the best option. The dryer itself is phenomenal, albeit large - you will need 28" wide path to be able to roll. (That is the width of the caster base) Controls are easy to use - the timer must be turned on for the motor to engage (don't just press the on switch and expect it to come on). There is an auto shut-off for when the set time is up. Heat is easily adjusted with the other dial.The heat does cycle on and off to keep temperature as set - meaning it won't heat up more than what you have chosen, as it will blow hot for a bit then blow warm and again hot, etc. The motor is definitely more powerful than I had anticipated - perhaps a bit more than my Dyson hair dryer with a diffuser on medium power. That said, it isn't blowing my hair wildly underneath the hood. Just make sure you use enough product on the top of your head, or you may experience frizzy hairs there.Assembly was a bit of a pain, as I had inadvertently covered with packing paper the star item shown in the photo that locks in the legs and base. That part is essential, as the legs don't lock into the base without it. Have a 14mm ratchet on-hand to tighten the bolt to the pole, as no wrench is provided. Once put together, the unit is stable. Height is easily adjustable with the tightening collar on the pole. The huge benefit to this model as compared to others is that the hood angle is adjustable. I use a dining chair under mine and am able to slide the base between the legs of the chair and sit comfortably underneath the dryer.My only gripe is that I did miss that shipping was extra - being a Prime member, I am accustomed to free shipping, so didn't think to look. I had credit in my account from a previous return, so late one night I just clicked through to order. What I must have missed was an option somewhere that expedited shipping and cost me $129 as opposed to the $29 stated on the page. My bad... please take note of this before you order.

Good quality and heat is very good. Lightweight to carry any where. Drying is good and fast time saving . After drying I use my my styling bush to the finish touch . Also bought in Amazon . Hope this works ☺️

First, I have to agree with another person's review in regards to the instructions; they were not so good, but assembly was easy. However, when asjusting the height, the supporting column (see instructions pic) keeps turning which I think appears to be untightening from the feet connections. Secondly, the adjustable tube is not supportive enough for the dryer which causes a forward tilting. I'm afraid the dryer will easily tip over if left standing alone so I removed the dryer from the stand and placed it on the floor for safe keeping. I have not tested the dryer yet to review its' heating capability. Will do that soon and update review. In my opinion, the dryer is too heavy for the supporting shaft.ThanksUpdate (12/16/18):Today was my 2nd use of the dryer, yesterday being the 1st and it dried my daughter's hair within the 60 min timer pretty well, but there is an issue adjusting the height. I emailed the seller but no response back. In my initial review, my assumption was that the dryer is too heavy for the aluminium shaft called adjustable tube. I was ubable to adjust the height to accommodate the chair I'm using. Instead, I had to deal with the issue by sitting on a pillow in the chair to adjust the height.Today, after using for 60 mins, my hair was fully dried and upon lifting the enclosure door a small metal ball (see pic) dropped off 😣. I have no idea where it came out from. This ball appears to move the door easily, now the door squeaks and is stiff to move and if moved too harshly will probably break off!😟I wanted very much to keep this dryer but with not being able to adjust the height and the metal ball popping off, I have to return😓.
