GE Cafe CGS995SELSS 30 Inch Slide-in Gas Range with Sealed Burner Cooktop, 6.7 cu. ft. Primary Oven Capacity in Stainless Steel

I have been using for about 6months. Works Great. I love the double oven.

We used the oven only a few times, and it developed a carbon monoxide leak that would have killed us if not for our CO detectors. CO levels above 50ppm make a residence not safe for habitation, and when tested, the oven kicked out more than 4000ppm of carbon monoxide. If we had ignored the alarms, we would be dead. And the service is terrible, they have been sold to a Chinese company Haier and could care less. You would think when a company’s product almost kills your family, they would try to help you. But they will not. The customer service does not care about helping. We had the leak verified by the fire department, gas company, and an HVAC contractor. We will not be buying from GE again.

I liked the high-end look of this range, and had owned the electric model previously so I knew we would love and utilize the double oven aspect. We switched to propane and purchased this for our kitchen remodel. Love the gas oven and burners, but keeping the cooktop clean is a daily chore. I wish the area under the burners was not stainless steel- you have to be very careful not to scratch it with a scrubbing sponge (did that on the first day we owned it!) which means you have to wipe up every spill, splatter and boil-over immediately before it bakes on. To access that area you really need to remove the burner grills which are cast iron and heavy/cumbersome. Then you need to finish with stainless steel cleaner or it looks streaky. Wish that entire area around the burners was black enamel or some other surface. Otherwise, It is a beautiful and functional addition to our new kitchen and the gas burners are so much more responsive then my electric cooktop.

Honestly can’t think of a bad thing to say about the stove. Even heat, love the broiler. Great looking as well.

I have never disliked a stove more. On average, it breaks 3 times a year and usually during the holiday season. More than once we have had to host Thanksgiving dinner without the use of our stove because it was broken, per usual. The ovens are the issue...not the gas burners, although it takes much longer for one of the burners to light than the others. We had to get a Sears service contract because the service calls were costing us so much. If it hadn't been so expensive, I would have trashed it long ago.

This range works great and looks great. Came in time for Thanks giving

This item have a lots of issuesMine was repaired twice and the last time technician said is unrepairable at this point , and GE is trying to give a credit towards buying a new unit , unit is only 2 years old , and started having the issue with in 4 months
