Well made, very sturdy and fits AMPP & VOLT lamps
Review of Cateye GP Bracket for GoPro mount 5445340.Bracket arrived promptly in sealed Cateye packaging and seems genuine. Packaging says Cateye Volt lamp models 300, 400, 700 and 800 fit the mount, but no mention of AMPP lights. However, my AMPP 400 clipped into it just fine and I understand that the same attachment is used throughout the AMPP range, so be reassured.I am using a Barfly out-front Garmin mount with a GoPro mounting below, this plenty of room for my lamp. The Cateye GP Bracket was a VERY tight fit and I could not get it into the GoPro mounting. I rounded the edges of the bracket a little with carborundum paper then managed to get it in and the bolt holes aligned. The Cateye GP Bracket comes with a bolt and washer, but bizarrely no nut. Fortunately, I already had a nut and bolt set that fitted so used that. The Cateye GP Bracket locked solidly in place with minimal torque applied to the nut and BOLT.My AMPP lamp attached easily and securely by sliding in from the front to lock position and released equally easily (but it was upside down).A brake cable ended up resting on the front right of my lamp, but I tested safety by steering full left and right a few times and cable did not catch around the lamp (check similarly unless you have a death wish!).There was no MOVEMENT of the Cateye GP Bracket whatsoever after a long, bumpy ride with AMPP attached.Cateye GP Bracket looks well made, very sturdy and definitely worth the £6.99 I paid [sob!].Please like this review if you do!

Perfect for adding to garmin out front
Not too expensive. Was £6.99 at the time of purchase.Fits perfectly into the gopro mount that I have under my garmin out front.Quick release works exactly the same, and is just as secure as the bar mount that came with my Ampp 500.Couldn't be happier. Feel like my light is in the perfect place now.

Looks good, resolved an issue.
Although a tight fit, it works well with the black anodised , cast aluminium LitePro bracket, which has a GoPro fitting, to attach my CatEye AMPP800 light to my bike. Looks good in situ. It allowed me to attach a much more powerful front light to my Brompton than is otherwise available as a standard Brompton part. Anyone who knows anything about Bromptons will know that their pukka front light bracket is not available to purchase separately.A bit pricey for a bolt and a small lump of plastic though.

Exactly what I needed
I used this product to attach my Cateye Volt 800 to the underside of my GPS. Although this was a tight fit and required a bit of wiggling and force to get it to fit, once fitted has performed brilliantly. The mount feels solid and well made and is perfect for my needs.

Fits a goPro ount perfectly
I use it with a GoPro mount to hold a Cateye Volt 1200 under my Garmin.Very pleased with it as the item arrived without fuss, but I got a notice today that a refund had been issued as they couldnt deliver it ...... but it had. Tried to contact the supplier but cant see how to do that.

Really solid mount
Very strong. I was worried it my be loose or rattle around. But to my surprise, this mount is really good and sturdy. Will buy another for the second bike so I can share lights

Doesn't fit a 2021 BELL Super DH Helmet go pro mount.
I had to take it to a friend's workshop and borrow his belt sander because it was too thick to fit the go pro mount on my new Bell Super DH helmet, now, this may be because the helmet mount was too thick or because the catseye mount was too thick or because both are too thick so I can't wholely blame this product. After I shaved a couple of ml off both sides it fitted well enough to use and I'm happy with it.I just wanted buyers who may be using it on a Bell helmet mount to be aware it won't fit without some major sanding.

smart accessory
The market is flooded with gopro compatible attachment systems, and this little adapter makes all of them compatible with cateye lights. Moreover, adds flexibility to the bike setup. For example, I have a gopro bracket base on the helmet, sometimes I use it for the cam, sometimes for the light. Great. But of course nothing beats the original cateye H34 handlebar bracket for lightness and performance.
