Because my cat keeps fishing used Q-Tips out of my old bathroom waste basket, I wanted to get a small can with a lid on it that would be cat-proof. This can is perfect. The pedal seems sturdy (I'm usually just lifting the lid so don't use it much), and the size of the can is perfect to fit beside the toilet. The lift-out liner will make cleaning really easy and will help protect the metal from rust since you'll mostly wash the liner and not the entire can.

I have this in my bedroom, its classy and great for small spaces, but its very small, doesn't hold much trash haha. Easy to empty though and I like that the color is matte.

This trash can was perfect for my needs. I needed something small, metal, with a secure metal lid....and the foot pedal opening was an added bonus. Pay attention to the dimensions, cause it is quite small, only 1.3 gallon capacity. However I don't generate lots of trash, so this was fine with me. My biggest challenge was finding bags small enough to line the inner bucket. You don't NEED to line the inner bucket, but I wanted to avoid having to clean the plastic inner bucket each time it got nasty. I've found some small bags that work so all is good. If you need something small, for under a counter, next to work bench, near a computer, or whatever....this will work brilliantly!

This garbage can is matte black, good height and width for a snug space, and has an easily removable inner “pail” for ease in emptying. Due to its lightweight, however, it moves every time you open it. Some type of silicone or feet on the bottom could help. Otherwise, nice

I initially bought one of these trash cans to see if I’d like it or if it would work well after reading the other reviews. . This trash can exceeded my expectations. It came packaged perfectly, no dents no problems. I put the first trash can in my bathroom in a tight space and it’s perfect. I have now bought another four cans for other areas in my home. I initially had a chrome colored round trash cans purchased from a department store. They were clumsy and they tarnished in both of my bathrooms. I purchased these trash cans in black and they’re a perfect color and they haven’t tarnished. Good product for the price.

We bought this for our teen daughter. She likes it as it fits well in the slim space between her sink cabinet and the commode. The lid keeps the pets from "dumpster diving".
