Coolest modular toolbox system on the market.
As an IT pro, I need to be ready to tackle a variety of projects on a daily basis. Keys to being successful and a true jack of all trades are to be organized and to be prepared. These LBOXX's are the coolest way to keep things organized and on the go. I'm not hunting for things in a big rolling box--I'm finding everything in it's place much more quickly.I use 5 of them right now, and they carry everything I need to tackle any project. Here's what works for me:LBOXX-3: Network patch cables, surface mount boxes, and USB patches and extension cables.LBOXX-1 with Insert Set: Fasteners of all types for mounting racks, cabinets, and wall-mount brackets.LBOXX-1 with Insert Set: Networking tools, jacks, plugs, test gear, and such.LBOXX-1 with Insert Set: Drill bits and driver sets for masonry, steel, wood, and assembly.LBOXX-2: Makita 18v LiOn drill/driver, 18v LiON impact driver, charger, and 3 batteries. They all stack and lock nicely, fit very well in the back of my RAV4. With my setup, this stack can get pretty heavy--a folding cargo dolly does the trick.Sure, they are a bit pricey, but the cost is easily offset by how much more efficiently I can work, how easy they are to transport, and how easy they are to rack in my storage area. If you have a cargo van, these are compatible with the Sortimo shelf systems (since they are made by the same company). You'll also find that some new Bosch tools are now packaged in these boxes, so they fit right in with your setup.Quality is very good, and the insert bins with some of the boxes give you a lot of flexibility with your storage needs.Very highly recommended!

Great product, better looking and higher quality than the competitive storage systems I have looked at.
These are pricier than a lot of the competing storage systems other tool companies have put out, but they are a quality product. I almost went with the Dewalt system, but I just found them too ugly to have taking up space in my shop. These have much more subtle branding and nice neutral color and I think they look great in my work area. Functionally they are sturdy, they snap together and apart easily and the storage insert makes this specific unit very useful for holding all sorts of miscellaneous smaller stuff. I use it for holding all my electrical connectors, wiring tools and millimeter and its perfect for the job.

Great for organizing small items.
I work in construction and drive an SUV so i don't have that much trunk space to spare. My tools were originally stored in canvas bags and they were taking up all the space in my trunk as well as the rear fold down seat since i wasnt able to stack the bags without damaging tools. I Bought an l-BOXX 1A,2,3, and a 4 to hold all of my tools and they worked fantastic! Everything stacks in one column in my trunk and i bungee cord them to they dont topple over when driving. The LBOXX A1 holds everything nicely in the bins and can be carried in any orientation without the contents of the bins spilling.I use the A1 for carrying spade drill bits, all kinds of impact driver bits, impact hex bits, ear plugs, 18 and 23 gauge nails and staples, adapters for air hoses, oil for nail guns, and much more.

May not suit everyone's needs... odd pricing strategy.
Having a large collection of Bosch tools (18V and 12V range and their track saw which isn't available in the US) I thought I'd just expand with their range of storage solutions; the Sortimo/ L-Boxx. This unit was purchased for storing my collection of Kreg screws and other odds and end like bit holders, spare bits and blades and my obligatory eye protectors. As far as part storage is concerned I do feel Bosch could have done better with the bins. First off, only the grey bins have removable dividers and every other compartment is actually an individual bin. In terms of customising this to your needs I'm afraid there isn't much you can do.For those on the fence here's what I managed to stuff into mine.- Grey; using only the middle dividers I can stuff in around 400 1-1/4" screws per compartment;approx. 800 screws per bin and total of 1600.- Grey; half compartment also fits eye protectors (non-goggle type)- Green; a Bosch impact bit set in their case. Only one unit can fit here. Bummer since I have 2 other Bosch sets in similar cases- Blue; space for medium length driver bits and bit holders- Orange; longer drill bits with plenty of space for more- Yellow;longer pocket hole screws up to 2-1/2" long... around 30-50 counts- Red; currently empty as they are too small for anything other than very fine nails and pins and screws in the less than 3/4" category (should fit 50-100 counts depending on size)My gripe is the fact that there are too few removable dividers and what I feel too many small compartments but as I have said; different people have different needs. I also do not understand how the same set without the bins are more expensive. It seems counter-intuitive. As far as built quality goes, the polymer used seems very thick and robust but there's too little give and I'd hazard a guess that it will crack if dropped from waist level; not that I'm the type to abuse my tools. The foam to ensure parts stays in place does the job for larger parts but I'd bet smaller panel pins that I use frequently will migrate between compartments and bins as I noticed there were no indentations from pressing against the bins. An easy fix would be to slip a card stock under the bin to raise the bin slightly for a good seal against the foam. I'm an angler and if you hate a messy tackle box like I do then this is an important issue since the idea of organising is to spend as little time hunting for parts so that we can spend more time on the water/ our projects. Sorry for the lengthy review but I'm sure that it would be useful information to some. English isn't my native language so if there's anything that isn't clear I'd be more than happy to answer your thoughts on this item.Update - I've dropped this case twice, both times when it was fully loaded with screws and other small parts. The latches stayed locked and there was no spillage. I cringed when it happened and expected to be on my knees picking up screws but it was nice to see the held up. No cracks or chips either.
