Works very well - exactly as advertised
I used this for installing a black granite counter (the seams between pieces). It worked beautifully. It was the only black epoxy I could find and the final results are fantastic. The bond is rock hard and strong. It sets quickly - you really only have 10 minutes max before it's not workable. It goes on non-flowing so it would work well on vertical surfaces. Extremely easy to apply - just break the tab, squirt onto scrap material and mix with included applicator stick. The only thing I needed that wasn't in the package was a standard razor blade to press it in the seams and shave it off (which you should do before it completely sets). You would think it would be a nightmare to clear up but it cleans up amazingly well and quickly with acetone. Rubbing alcohol works too. Just apply it with a paper towel and it instantly starts to dissolve (turns bluish!) . I did this after about 10 min. I think it will be much harder or impossible to clean up like this if you wait much longer than 10 min. Because it's a two-part epoxy it stores well for continued application at a later time (no drying the tip shut like regular glue). As far as quantity, I needed about 2.5X as much as I originally thought, but that might just be my inexperience. I was not able to return the one leftover tube because it was "unreturnable". But since it stores well I now have a tube of great black epoxy if I need it!

It really works
I had an incident with our ATV where a branch got caught under the rear wheel and ended up poking out a small piece of the plastic fender right behind my leg. As a result, any time I went through water it would splash up against the back of my leg - because there was a hole where there shouldn't be a hole. I managed to find the piece of plastic that was broken and then ordered this epoxy thinking I might be able to fix it. I got the black color because that's the color of the fender on the ATV. Mixing is very simple as the syringe gives out measured amounts of the resin and hardener. I used the plastic packaging as a reservoir to mix the two together in, and the syringe comes with a little plastic mixing stick. I cleaned, and dried the broken part and existing fender, applied the epoxy and carefully fit the broken piece in place. I then covered it on the drivers facing side with a piece of duct tape - and then I let it sit overnight. And it worked! It's nearly impossible to tell where the break was and it has held up now for over 3 months. Gorilla glue is good stuff and this is a great product.

Amazing product!
Amazing! We used this to fix a metal chair where the mesh was coming away from the support. It needed to be welded, so I figured I would give it a try. The hold was fantastic; and the chair is functional again. Worked great! It definitely smells strong; even doing it outside, my husband was overwhelmed by the chemicals (it did not bother me at all). It does set quickly, so keep in mind, you do need to work fast. Great product!

Ok wow
WOW, this stuff has an odor... the only way to describe it that I could come up with is that it's profoundly offensive to the senses. It is an odor that lingers, and it is quite literally nauseating. It's not foul, nor rotten, as words like that don't really fit... nor is it like any "chemical smell" I've encountered before. But it definitely offends the olfactory sense, disconcerting so. Perhaps another way to describe it would be, traumatic. I'm only half joking. The odor managed to cut right through my P100 respirator like it was nothing, and I had to break out my WWII-era clf Fe activated charcoal gas mask in order to work with this stuff indoors. If you don't have that sort of filtration equipment available, then absolutely only work with this stuff outdoors. Even if you do have that sort of equipment, ventilate the area thoroughly. You'll regret it if you don't.With all that said, once the stuff begins to cure, it doesn't take long at all for the odor to stop emanating from it, and it's fine to bring your workpiece indoors after that. But wow, that odor is one I can not ever un-learn of, and I almost wish I could.Anyway, the bond it creates is impressive, it's some of the strongest, if not the strongest, epoxy I've ever worked with. I bought it mainly to bond two pieces of metal together, and I'd say while it's not quite as if they were welded or brazed together, it's probably the closest one could get to brazing without actually doing so. So that's impressive.I wish I could give it five stars for bonding strength, but frankly I'm being generous by only knocking off one of the stars for the you-know-what.

Good seal
I used it to join and seal a seam in a countertop. Seems to be holding up well and the black blended nicely with the countertop. While it did smell somewhat, it was nowhere near what I was expecting based on other reviews.
