My husband and I purchased this for our home gym. While there is assembly required, I must say it was relatively easy to put together! It took me about 3 hours total (would've been less, but I like to read, and then re-read the instructions). With that said, I was able to get it together mostly by myself, with the husband helping hold the heavier parts in place while I put all the bolts on. He said I get the "good wife" award...lol. I actually like putting things together so I didn't mind! The machine functions smoothly and is quite comfy in the press or hack squat. The back pad could be a little more padded, but otherwise its comfortable and easy to use, glides smoothly and feels solid. This unit is a great addition for the price and is well made!

Last year I spent a couple of months to do a lot of research and evaluate on different brands of this types of machine. Eventually I thought I made the right decision to choose the RITFIT SPORTS. It was quick delivery just after five days order. The instructions brochure for the assembling are pretty clear in detail to follow. The customer service is excellent at solving any issues that happened due to transit. In the meantime they provide the guidelines about the machine maintenance that is useful for the home gym in the long run. After assembling, the machine looks exactly the same as the picture advised online, shiny and great appearance. It has a solid weight capacity, made by the durable and sturdy steel. The locations of weight plates are well designed under the leg press plate, the big difference from the other brands. In addition, the wonderful design of both handrails are great for security during training and protection of the machine also. The leg press machine operates smoothly and is very easy to master for a novice, the best and convenient for home use anytime. After three months working out, I feel I have had big progress on my leg muscles, way better and faster than using dumbbell and resistance bands. I am happy with that. I highly recommend it since the leg press and hack squat combo machine offer the numerous benefits for the lower body muscle growth and development. The RITFIT SPORTS has great acceptable price and quality for those values!

I purchased this because it said it has a 1200lb capacity and was a hack squat and leg press combo. Plus, was priced cheap on sale making it an easy sell to my wife. 🤣 I can only fit 450lbs with my hyperthin bumper plates though. I may purchase steel weight plates to use just for this machine to allow the ability to add more weight with thinner plates. The hack squat was slightly awkward at first as the back pad would move while performing a rep but making sure you're fully seated into the machine before performing reps will help prevent that movement. I felt it operated smoothly. It does have a little noise to it but nothing major. Instructions were very easy to follow and took about 2 hours to put together by myself. Final conclusion, this unit when at a sell price makes it a good candidate for an entry level leg press and hack squat combo.

This item is a great addition to our gym. My husband and I put it together, and it took us about an hour. The directions were easy to follow, and all the parts were in good condition. It is a heavy, solid piece of equipment and works as expected. Im very happy with this purchase!

Overall I recommend this product for the price, customer service, and functionality. Now, it was very unclear how this would be shipped. When I got the tracking number it was for one box that weighed less than 1/2 the total weight of the machines gross weight. This will come in two shipments. The first took four days and the other box showed up two days later. The boxes will most-likely be damaged upon delivery because of the weight of each box and the soy milk that the multiple delivery people drink as part of their daily routine 💪🏼. Each item will be wrapped in bubble wrap, but there is not a lot of styrofoam material in the box from keeping the items from clanking around - most-likely will have some scratches, but that should not deter you as this is GYM EQUIPMENT. This may appear that it cannot sustain the weight that you max on it, but with the bolt plates that come with it the machine is reinforced at the primary bolt/pressure bearing points. While not quite the max load that is advertised because I mix bumper and iron plates, I have had 12x 45s and two 160lbs resistance bands to this and it handles the load fine. For those of you that have mixed plates, I can only get 6x 45lbs bumper plates and 6x 45lbs iron plates before I run out of room. The sled moves smoothly on the guides but you have to make sure to lube it. I coated mine with lithium grease. There are only two aggravating things about this, but I got over it after a couple workouts and it only really matters if you do multiple positions toe/foot placements during exercises. First the foot pad on the leg press has thequarter moon swing plate (or whatever it's called) that lets you transition from hack to press in an awkward spot. It is more offset to the left side and limits your toe/foot rotations. Overall you are able to do what you need. The second issue is that the pads on the hack are thin and put a lot of pressure on your shoulders. I don't really like this because I bought this machine to replace regular squats since I just had double shoulder surgery in an attempt to alleviate pressure on my shoulders. Regarding customer service, I immediately inventoried all of the parts because my boxes arrived like the fell off of a roof. I was missing multiple bolt plates. I messaged the company through Amazon and was promptly asked to confirm the exact number of pieces missing. They mailed it the next day and those arrived about four days later. I recommend this brand because of the service and quality. If you don't like the quarter moon thing I mentioned above, I recommend buying their new updated model.

after a ton of searching and research this is the one I went for. And I’m glad I did! Pretty sweet machine, easy assembly, big but not huge so it fits in small spaces, very good value for the money, you get a leg press and a hack squat machine in one so that’s a plus. It’s pretty smooth, however it’s a bit loud going up and down, doesn’t bother me none, it’s the bearing sleeves, it is what it is, not a fatal flaw. Well built and comfortable, ergos are great, just got to keep an eye on the safety bars, you have to look at them to make sure they are seated properly especially if you have a lot of weight. But overall it’s a great addition to my home gym and I’m very happy I got this one. For the quality and the price it’s perfect. 5/5

Do not buy this !! After several hours of putting this together and in the final stage of completion - find out part of the weight carriage frame is not fabricated right . I reached out to the company via Amazon and sent pics out and they sent me the same exact part THAT STILL DOESNT FIT .. It would be nearly impossible to take apart at this point and pack all this in boxes again and the time and expense to buy more boxes is incomprehensible . See pic I sent more complaints out to the company again with more pics .. so waiting ? Also the rit fit customer service number is useless.. I did have one guy pick up after several attempts and he was sort of rude and just told me wait for a response through Amazon.. I would guess all of these leg press machines will have the same non fitting reinforcement frame !

I have recently started my home gym and slowly acquired my machines, I have two Ritfit machines thus far. One being the leg extension which I absolutely love. Second machine is the leg press. Let me tell you. It is an absolute game changer. I have been at work these past couple of days after being able to build it, which truthfully took a good 2-3 hrs. That was on my own, if I had help I think it would have been quicker. Very easy to assemble once you start going. The quality is top tier at first I was a bit skeptical but I used it today for the first time and I can tell you it is going to be a game changer. It absolutely surpassed my expectations. My home gym just got elevated to a commercial gym. I can’t wait to purchase more ritfit items. If you have been on the verge of buying this leg press, do it. Don’t hesitate. Quick side note I am 6’3 so I was a bit concerned about how functional it would be for me, but it works absolutely fine. I get great depth with it. One more note the size of the machine is actually pretty decent, I was worried it would take up too much space but I would say it is perfect.
