BT Elements Weatherproof DECT Cordless Phone with Answering Machine - Quint

Excellent product, very quick delivery. Item purchased to replace a previous sustem which had reached the end of its serviceable life after 20+ years

Whilst these phones may work, they will not operate with my existing system, so are being returned. There is no technical information available, and BT are not willing to impart any knowledge if you do not have a BT line.I was particularly interested in operation of the answer machine operation, but that is very sparse to say the least.

I purchased these to replace some again wireless handsets that were starting to play up. Extended coverage was key as 1 handset was in the studio located in the back garden and 30m from the base station. Works flawlessly with no dropouts, clear phone calls with no crackling or buzzing.

Perfect for taking outside on to the patio or in the garden, technology still a bit antiquated but they work well. Frustrating that features all seem to be blocked unless you are a BT customer, not really abusing their market dominant position!Initially had a few issues with 1 unit overheating, comms were slow and a bit frustrating, however, a replacement has been sent and this works well, although you do have to reset the whole system

I was very pleased with the telephones and I had challenge which I rang BT help desk and they sorted me out very helpful.

With my last set of mobile cordless handsets the range was quoted as 250m - no chance. When I contacted the helpline I was told the problem was that I had walls in my house! These BT Elements are amazing. Right through the house, in the garden , the workshop, the garage all without loss of service. Great product. The only slight complaint - instructions to download answerphone messages was a bit confusing, but minor issue

Brilliant .. For the first time ever we can use this phone in every room if our house and even right to edge if our very large garden .. we've very deep stone walls and previous phones just wouldn't go the distance

Best range of phones I could find. Great in a big old house which has really thick walls, when other digital phones I tried couldn't carry the signal to all rooms in the house.
