This is a genius invention, anyone with a hob should own one. I bought a new induction hob, and wanted to keep it shiny and new. So, I bought this, but I was terrified to use it whilst cooking! So it lay in a drawer for about 2 months, by this time my hob was starting to get pan marks, and when water boiled over, the hob switched itself off, cooking was becoming a nightmare. I decided it's time to get the protection mat on. It is amazing, and I wish I had used it sooner. Not only does it protect your hob from scratches and pan marks, it also stops the automatic shutdown of power, when there's any spillage. It's also very easy to clean, the only negative is that it is a dust collector! It may drive you nuts keeping it clean, but you will be very grateful you bought it. I would have liked it to come in different colours, but black will do for now. I fully recommend buying this product, it is just fab. Even though it's a little pricey, it is well worth it.

Good coverage & don't need to keep cleaning the hob. However, do need to avoid cleaning the cover with fabric or material with fibres as they will stick.

Absolutely love this .!! I measured the width & length of the hob first... perfect size..super non slip cover ..great textured surface.. easily wiped /shake off any crumbs..(it's a good thickness , good quality .) I have recommended it to my family.. A great buy ! Excellent value for money..

Really pleased with this. Fits our new hob perfectly, although it would be easy to trim to size if it didn't. It's easy to keep clean and protects the induction hob from possible scratches when not in use. The bonuses are that the hob can become part of the working/prepping area when it's not on and also the cover can be used at the side of the hob, for resting hot pans rather than risk staining or damaging your worktops. Would highly recommend

Shortly after receiving my order, I attempted to use it and it turned out to be a terrible purchase. Initially, it started smoking while the induction was on. I checked to ensure everything was fine and the smoke was safe but then an outburst of fire erupted. I quickly switched off the hob at the socket and opened all the doors and windows as the smoke was becoming overwhelming. After letting it cool down a bit, I removed the product from the hob. Unfortunately, it had shrunk at the spot where I had turned it on and some of it had stuck to the induction hob.

I love this! Has maximised my worktop space as i can confidently put items on the hob without fear of scratching or cracking. Heat comes through just as well as without having the hob cover, but it gives reassurance that an accidental touches are safer due to the rubber layer. Have recommended to friends. Easy to clean down. And I just cut around the touch buttons for the controls. You quickly get used to where the rings are underneath so you don't need to lift it up to see where they are every time

It’s not quite what I expected I thought it was just to protect the hob didn’t realise you actually cook though it but still very useful

I just moved into a house with an induction hob - my first. Finding it quite annoying as if a pan slips slightly off the diagram, it switches itself off. And you can't ever leave a pan to the side... so someone recommended this and I have to say I found it even more annoying because you can't see the pan diagrams nor the control buttons - and it attracts every tiny bit of lint in the atmosphere. The pans do stay in place, I suppose, and I assume it protects the hob from scratches, but I'm not sold. It's going on eBay.
