Incredible Tool
Another awesome light from a great company. Have many from Lumintop and have not been disappointed. When I do give lights to friends and family I only give them this brand. Super bright for the size. Does not throw as far as the previous version. Like that the battery has built in usbc charger. The button illuminates which makes it easy to find in the dark. Tough. Lightweight. Bright. Compact.

These lights are so perfect for EDC
I have three of these tool AA lights now even though I didn't consider myself a flashlight enthusiast I'm beginning to build a fun collection and these Lumintop lights were the start. I have the Blue AA 3.0 which is super bright, I have not tested it but I believe the claim that its around 900 lm provided you are using a 14500 battery (not standard AA) but its not physically different than the other two. I have the tool AA 2.0 Nichia version in black which is much warmer light and more color correct I understand and finally just a plain old black with an Osram? Cree? led inside. They look good, feel good and are perfect for just hauling around in my pocket. I've looked at so many EDC review sites and thought, what about a Fenix, Olight, Streamlight and so many others and they are all great lights with tons of fans but this one resonates with me for some reason. Cheap, durable, bright, uses AA or 14500 fuel, and just disappears in a pocket. I have larger lights like my Olight baton 3 pro for when I'm actually working on a project but for every day, this one is a gem and is always with me. I am slightly annoyed that when you use 14500 batteries the tail of the light has a blue led that lights up and you cannot turn it off unless you partially unscrew the base, that's pointless and it drains the battery but if you use standard AA batteries the tail led will not light up. Seriously though, if you want a super bright, cheap, good looking little light for just having with you that isn't a stupid phone light, this is a great deal and will last you a long time.

Good light for a AA battery flashlight
I would give it 4.5 stars. It is not perfect. It is light weight, takes a AA battery, and puts out enough light on mode 3 to be very usable while still potentially giving a longer battery life. Is actually light enough to use clipped to a ball cap. It is very small not much bigger than the AA battery inside. Might be easier to store and also loose due to the size. The light output is on the cold side of white and very useable. It is interesting that instead of having a dual purpose clip like the Fenix E12v3 and the Olight i5R EOS you can just unscrew both ends and swap them around to make it a ball cap clip or a pocket clip.I would chose the Lumintop Tool RR 3.0 over the Olight i5R EOS and definitely over the Fenix E12v3

The BEST EDC light, beware battery is undersized for the light
I reviewed Lumintop's 650 lumen version of this light, the AA 2.0 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X3BMZXS), and there is not really anything different with this one except for the brightness increase to 900 lumens. So I'll briefly touch on the same things I did with the other. It's an *excellent* value, period. I bought these lights because I didn't want to be crying if I had left my expen$$$ive light(s) in the field while working, or just simply misplaced it somewhere. For the price of this light, sure it's not exactly "cheap" but it wouldn't be the same pain as if I had lost an $80+ light somewhere. It's a great quality light with an amazing feature set for the price- magnetic twisty tailcap, AND and clicky tailcap (non-magnetic) with LED power indicator, multiple brightness modes, removable pocket clip, and lanyard tie. The beam pattern is more spread than throw, but strikes a really nice balance for a light of this size. The color temp is more white than yellow but I have it to be absolutely fine.So here's the main thing you need to be mindful of though- since the included battery has a built-in USB-C charging port, the battery has less room for battery cells, and therefore not as much runtime (capacity) as a standard battery with no built-in charging port. Do NOT buy this light and expect to get hours of runtime on Turbo mode! It's simply not possible, physics and all that. I use my light generally on the first two brightness levels, and go weeks between battery charges. This is reasonable. But 900 lumens is a fairly decent power draw for a small battery, even one without the charging stuff built in. If you want a light that will run you for hours at higher lumen output, you need to get something with a substantially bigger battery. You should buy 2 or 3 of these just to stash everywhere- your EDC bag, glovebox, junk drawer in the house. It's an excellent light for the money and I highly recommend it.This light (and the 650-lumen version, here- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X3BMZXS)
