The kids into heavy metal music were stereotyped as a bunch of intellectually dull, dead end burnouts, going nowhere fast. Never mind the lyrics of Iron Maiden were rich in epic story telling about history and 19th century Victorian era literature. The songs are brought into graphic novel form depicting what they're really about.

Artist’s renditions were awesome by the guest artists who did splash pages. The story art looked so so. Do an ART OF EDDIE book next time.

Did you notice my Amazon name, lifelong fan, saw my first show at age 16 and my 25th a couple months ago at age 57! As long as they are still playing I will be going to the concerts! Have not yet read the book but it is a thing of beauty. Have flipped through it in its entirety and can not wait to tuck in and read all the songs from Piece of Mind told as stories in comic book form. Lots of other stuff in there too. Any fan of this band has to have this book! And how is it possible that this album is 40 years old! Seems like yesterday I brought it home from the record store! Yes, young readers, once upon a time we had to go to the record store to buy records. You do know what records are? Hahaha! Up the Irons! Eddie Rules!

Really like this book . Great artwork & quite colourful . Don’t love every interpretation but the whole thing is presented very well . It’d be great if they released more like this for other significant albums . Maiden fans will want this .
