This product would be recalled if it wasn't some general company from who knows where that sells on Amazon. I really wanted to like this because it is less expensive than the vitamix pitcher. Let's be honest though this generic picture is not cheap. After 5 months this is leaking it has a crack in the bottom it is so cheap underneath the blade the plastic is thin and cheap and lightweight for all of my four Vitamix blenders. Vitamix pitchers last 15 years before they get a crack in them and the blades are replaceable. this garbage did not make it 6mos! They say the blade is stainless steel but do not be mistaken the other side of the blade that goes on to the base is cheap aluminum that shreds on the Vitamix base it cannot handle the power. It is not NSF. where the blade is attached. So consistently we're having to remove and clean the Vitamix base because of drips coming out the bottom. stick with the original vitamins mixed pictures even though they are so much more expensive

Excellent product for the money. My original was broken when loaned to a friend. Glad I didn't have to pay too much to replace it.

I needed to replace my old Vitamix pitcher which had cracked on the bottom. This was a great fix. Much cheaper than replacing the entire product which still worked. I think the new blades really made a difference as well, an added bonus.

After a few uses, it started leaking black stuff (which we later realized must have been lubricant/grease from the metal components) from underneath making a mess if left on the counter. Then I noticed it wasn’t blending as well as the original pitcher, but I figured that was because it’s a knock off. Then my blender started sounding strained and then one day, it wouldn’t even blend at all despite being able to hear the blender was on. We took off the pitcher and noticed the blender was working, but the pitcher had frozen up so that it wouldn’t turn at all. It ruined the motor of my vitamix, burned it up. But not before I ordered an original pitcher for over $100 to replace this one and now my vitamix only goes full blast, none of the lower speeds so we needed to buy an entire new blender. This thing cost us $53 or whatever and then another $100+ and another $300 for an entirely new blender. Don’t risk it.

Great replacement

Great looking product, very sleek. Appreciate getting the tamper with the basin. The basin is not dishwasher safe without disassembling the blades. My basin developed a slow leak after running through the dishwasher a few times, the liquid that comes out is brown and smells like rust.
