A great starter kit for artists
My grandson is a budding artist and I know he will love this. He enjoys drawing with pencils and adding shade and depth to his pictures. This set is just perfect for him. It comes in a sturdy tin. The only thing I think is missing is perhaps a guide to using charcoals for those new to it. Most starter kits have a guide and I was surprised there wasn’t one in here. However it is still good and a great price.

Good, except the vine charcoal
I found this set to be really good, easy to use and I particularly liked the compressed charcoal pencils. The only downfall was the Vine charcoal, which is very hard and scratchy. It’s difficult to consistently get a mark on the paper. Add softer Vine charcoal and this would be an excellent set
