Throwback to an older era, but this hood dryer is a LIFE-SAVER! When my hair get's stressed and dried out, I put in some deep conditioner after shampooing my hair and sit under the hood dryer with a plastic cap on for 15-20 minutes and my hair comes out just as soft, shiny and heathy as if I'd gone to the salon! Same for when I want to do a hot-oil treatment.I use it for my 9-year old granddaughter who keeps braids in her hair; when these get wet they take forever to dry. She would get sickbecause we could not seem to get her braided hair completely dry before going to bed. We used to have her walk around all night after showering with a towel on her head to soak up all the water. She would sometimes go to bed with the towel wrapped around her hair because it was still damp. Now she sits under the hooded dryer and watches TV while her hair get's completely dry. WE LOVE IT!

This product I did not receive. I think it is lost somewhere, I really wanted to have it with the table I order for a perfect Decor. I have seen the credit on my report. I purchased this product and immediately removed from packaging to test. It is very lightweight, however not an issue as long as it will work. The "IONIC" button was in an odd position and could not be pressed. This was unfortunate as this is the ION feature is my main reason for purchasing. Packed it up and arranged for return. Replacement item arrived today and open it right away. I was disappointed that this dryer had the same issue. Plugged it in the hair dryer operated okay, however the IONIC control button is frozen in place and no amount of pushing would engage it so the ION light never came on. Returning it tomorrow and will look for another more dependable brand. So disappointed. I cannot recommend this product as there is no way it will dry with ION functionality since that button is not working. Do not buy.

I love this product because it is very powerful and is light weight. I use it to dry my hair. 10/10

The bonnet is not sturdy. Better instructions are needed on how to adjust the neck and hood. Cool setting is needed. Drys hair well.

The all-plastic construction means that it's not incredibly sturdy. The clip at the top that holds the hood popped out early on, and while I was able to reinsert the spring and fix it, it needs to be jiggled into place sometimes. The height adjustment also has to be checked before you get under the hood or it might fall down onto your head. Little annoyances that you can get used to. It's light for carrying, the bonnet is large enough that you get good head coverage, the different temperatures are actually different, and it's a good size to store away in even a linen closet.

I had a golden hot hood dryer that I purchased more than a decade ago that recently broke. This dryer does not compare. I’m sitting under it as I type this and I’m absolutely shocked at the sound.

I love this hair dryer. I would recommend this brand to anyone who is looking for top quality.
