The Dark Knight Trilogy [Batman] [DVD] [2005]

I’ve just watched all the earlier Batman films going back to the original 1960s movie and enjoyed every one. They’re if their time, but the new generation Batman takes the film and story to a whole different level. Christian Bale is a convincing superhero and even Michael Caine as Arthur the butler puts in a great performance. This is a cracking boxed set, with the three modern Batman films, a small glossy quality book with photos and clips from production and there’s a whole bundle of extras. Six discs in total; three films and three discs of extras, Hours of viewing and a great look behind the scenes and special effects. An outstanding boxed set which I’ll view more than once.

The epic Trilogy. Christian Bale is the perfect batman for me and Christopher Nolan was the perfect director to have this dark essence in the movies. Sountrack is great - Hans Zimmer managed to get our feelings. Batman Begins is the 1st and gives us all hints for the other two movies. Batman prepares for his ultimate battles with a good/bad Liam Neeson. His secret will reveal in 3rd movie...Michael Cane plays excellent the role of Alfred - a true Englishman and a father role at once. In movie two - oh what a memoriable acting by Heath Leadger (why so serious??!!!). Aaron Ekhart face still shocks me ....Movie 3 - Bruce is a lost soul, Wayne is lost until help comes from various sides. A different , darker catwoman - Anne Hathaway, a policeman with hope and a suprise in the end(Joseph Gordon Levitt and commissioner Gordon still at his side (Gary oldman) all against the harder vilain (Tomas Hardy) who gain all criminals beside him. The scene in the stadium...wow....Bruce Wayne desides to wear the mask one more -last time. But in the end our director suprised us with a hint. Maybe a next movie???

Highly recommend and great price

I think this is a very good value package! Six DVD's and a booklet (admittedly mostly photos) in a very snazzy box for the price Amazon are charging seems a very good deal to me. I'm not concerned about the sliver of polystyrene that's in the package, as some people are, as it seems that it is only there to protect the booklet in transit; it can be disposed of when the boxed set is added to your DVD collection. I tried the 'UV copy' aspect out of curiosity, but the hyperlink given doesn't work and I've checked my spelling rigorously and tried some obvious alternatives etc. I personally would rate this boxed set at five stars, because the 'UV copy' aspect does not interest me, but as other potential purchasers might see this as a useful addition to the package, I felt it needed downgrading to four stars.

I bought this product because I love these films. And i wanted the final batman on DVD. It was £10 on amazon alone. Pay an extra £8, get the whole collection. Fast delivery too. The quality of the product is fantastic. The front of the case is holographic displaying all of the batman movie images. Really good to look at. Inside the films have 2 DVDs each. 1 for the film and one for the special features. Comes in a great collective case that hold 6 discs in total. It also comes with a artwork and behind the scenes booklet about the Christopher Nolan batman movies. You don't have to be a collector/geek to own this. The images are top quality and really nice to look at. Overall, 5/5 Stars. Worth the money definitely!

Can't praise the trilogy of films in this set enough. Really enjoyed Batman Begins, which was a good reintroduction to Batman. Then when The Dark Knight came out, I was blown away. The Joker's character steals the show and Heath Ledger deservedly won the Oscar for it. In many ways the second film spoils it a bit for the third instalment The Dark Knight Rises as its a difficult act to follow. Bane was very good and Tom Hardy played him well but it didnt quitw have the same magic. The film lacked enough actual Batman action for me, but that's not to say its not a great film, its just the The Dark Knight really stands out so much out of the trilogy. Overall if you love comic book films then this is top of the list.

The Christian Bale series of Batman have been the best ever. Just that little bit darker than the previous ones. In this there seemed to be consistency with the stories. The first one I think was the best. The League of Shadows part, where batman had to hide from Liam was like a dance routine, so in time, wonderful and of course they don't get any credit in the film. The second was a bit disappointing. Doesn't matter how good an actor Heath Ledger was, if the joker had been left out, wouldn't have missed him. A little O.T.T. with the sensation killing, not at much story. The third was good. Just sad it is the last.

5 Stars - Nothing Less! Growing up reading and watching Batman cartoons etc, I was pretty disappointed with the previous incarnations of the franchise (remember Val Kilmer's and George Clooney's awful interpretations of the caped crusader?). Up steps Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan and boom...3 flms later, perhaps we have not only the greatest trilogy ever, but also one of the greatest characters ever played in The Joker (Heath Ledger). All 3 films are dark, mystical, fun and action packed, I can't wait for the next one!!

El pack está genial con las 3 pelis con los extras y un libro y la caratula es genial, según la muevas se ve la portada de las peliculas PERO CUIDADO, esta es la edicion Reino Unido y solo viene en V. O. y doblada al alemán, algunos comentarios llevan a error y no está doblada al español ni subtitulada. Yo he devuelto el producto.

No recomiendo la compra de este producto vía Nagiry. Total desinformación respecto al contenido del artículo, de si realmente consta de un libro y de si posee Subtítulos o Idioma ESPAÑOL. Tras ponerme en contacto con la compañía para que resolviesen esta duda, su respuesta fue que; no podían proporcionarme información al respecto. Después de contactar con el servicio de atención al cliente de Amazon, un chico muy amable me aseguró que el producto contaba con Subtítulos e Idioma Español, por lo que decidí realizar la compra, puesto que no contaba con más opciones debido a que se trataba de un regalo que esperaba ser entregado en Reyes. El producto trás un mes de espera, NO LLEGÓ A MI DOMICILIO, FUE PERDIDO Y SE DESCONOCE SU PARADERO. Y como "compensación" la empresa decidió devolverme el dinero ya que me habían ofrecido anteriormente reenviarme gratuitamente el reemplazo del artículo. Pero para más Inri, se dieron cuenta una vez de haber ofrecido esto, que no contaban con Stock, y que tenía que quedarme sin el producto, que además iba a ser un regalo para estas fechas tan pronunciadas. Por esta serie de detalles no recomiendo que adquieran este producto en el caso de que vuelvan a reponer un nuevo Stock de este. Creo que son razones más que suficientes para mostrar este gran descontento y que ustedes sepan como ha trabajo esta empresa conmigo en concreto.

El envío muy rápido, como siempre. Pero el no es el que he comprado. Idiomas de audio: ingles y alemán, y subtitulos: ingles, alemán, árabe, búlgaro y alguno más, pero ni español. Y la caja de cartón. No la devuelvo porque a la persona que se la regalaba no le importa, pero era obligado que dijera esto en público para avisar de que esto os puede pasar.
