I love audioquest's value
I always like audioquest and try to push my budget a little bit more for their quality products.

No, this cable is not snake oil, depending on your setup, this cable will either bring no improvements or some improvements. Even then the changes to sound is purely subjective, you might not like the changes. For me, the difference was indeed noticeable when compared to a generic cable, bass was tighter, voice became clearer but not by much. Cables like these should be treated the same as you would for buying a DAC; a minor tweak at best. The priority for improving sound should always be focused on the speaker, amplifier and room placement. Don't buy these cables expecting a miracle to happen, it most certainly will not. I bought this cable because I was darn tired of buying cheap USB cables that would fail to even last a year; sound improvement was not a priority but a nice side effect. The quality alone is worth the price considering I wasted enough of my time on rebranded low quality cables.
