Enlightening
For a complete technophobe, this book gives me great insights on what is the buzz all about when it comes to digitization and the internet of things. Not only does it gave me an understanding of the digital world but it also have me the practical side of implementing a digital transformation. It is a great beginning in understanding this new world we are living in and the reference to other books and topics in digitization point me to the next step in further improving my understanding of the digital world.

Had some decent information within but found a bit hard to keep with the flow of the writing.

Not What I Expected
Ironically, this doesn’t read well on an e-reader. The format was confusing. It was like a long college paper. Could have been better.

Great book! Nicolas does a tremendous job in this book to de-mystify what the IoT is, he details in very understandable terms the need to digitize your enterprise.

Digitize or Die is a wake-up call!
Digitize or Die is a wake-up call! It’s a read that you’ll want to keep a handy copy of for referencing it over and over! It’s easy to understand (although I have to admit I had to read it slowly). And, after finishing the digital version at the end of the year, I went ahead and purchased the paper back. Not very digital of me – I know… however, there are many aspects of this book I wanted to show and tell others about! It provides great clarity on what IoT actually is, and how this revolution continues to change the way we think, behave, work, buy and how ultimately it affects all aspects of our lives!Nicolas places core emphasis on the imperative nature of Customers as his step 0 – the start point in his 4 step IoT4 Methodology, stating that “It’s not the technology that drives the financial performance and customer satisfaction: it’s the experience, the enchantment”I thoroughly enjoyed the increased awareness Nicolas Windpassinger’s volume 1 provides. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to understand the context and sheer speed in which our world is changing through digitization due to the rapidly increasing knowledge and moment by moment insight IoT provides in terms of customer preferences and behaviour.

highlights the true importance of digital transformation
This a nice writeup, that constantly reminds the importance of digital transformation, to the top management, for them to think and take pragmatic decisions, based on a clear forward thinking strategy, for taking their companies to the next level. While Internet of Things is highlighted more,-> all the complimentary ingredients like Big data, Cloud Hosting, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning etc..., are presented with equal importance.-> the need to constantly engage their team, by availing them with access to learn and embrace new technologies, thus making work more inclusive, challenging and interesting to the latter, is reinforced to the top management, for them, to get better productivity and ensure increasing happiness index in all sections of the team.Overall a nice read.

Must Have !
We call it Living the dream ! I have see this book growing and taking shape. This is not at all an academic approach as such. Knowing the Author, Nicolas is experiencing, in his day to day business, the transformation the whole industry is going through. This is what you can expect by reading this book : understanding what are the compulsory reasons to act. Enjoy !
