Frith Sitting Hare' Large Bronze Hare Sculpture by Paul Jenkins

We received this and immediately loved it - the quality, the height and look were exactly what we expected. It was lovely and the HARE has real character behind the eyes he looks fabulous standing there . the packaging was very well done BUT he has large long hind legs and one was snapped - a clean break but broken. We tried everything to get someone with some common sense to give us a reduction because we said we would keep it and fix it BUT please give us a reduction in price . No one would they would only tell us to return it which we felt was a waste of time and money and possibly the hare would be in bits as trying to re package it would have been a long job . HOWEVER if you have these legs PROTECT THEM nothing there to ensure they did not move , no padding around the thinnest bit or packaging to stop it snapping. A real shame however we stuck him back together and accepted it as out loss but he still looks lovely

This would have been a beautiful Item. Sadly it arrived broken, due to improper handling and packaging. The sculpture is 45cms high, not 49cms. It is bronze powder mixed with resin, rather than a bronze statue.

Arrived with a broken leg , looks okay afterGlueing back together as returning looked horribly complicated … nice item but poorPacking and it’s only a painted resin and certainly not cast !!

very happy to receive this for xmas from partner.have looked at others inferior to this.they did not match this in detail and livelinesss of finish.Detail of light and shade,exagerration of paws addto effect.even my father who worked in foundry all his life casting for well kown architectural sculptors thought it was good.As we live in a barn it fitted in with its surroundings very well.AND i am pleased to show visitors my hare as we often see them gambolling in the back field.

Received the hare as a birthday gift and I love him! Arrived very securely packed and no damage. Great product, great service.

I am really sad and disappointed that I brought one for my wife as a present. On her opening the packaging, which was totally okay, the Hare's ear was snapped in half. How this happened is strange, as the packaging was not damaged, and it was well rapped. We reordered, as my wife loved the look of the item, only to find the second one was also damaged, when again the packaging completely undamaged. The only way that this could have happened, would have been, that it was dropped as it was being boxed. I videoed my wife opening both boxes, so it certainly it was not damaged on opening.

Lovely item but arrived broken. The packaging around the legs was inadequate. Such a shame.

I have given this 5 stars as I totally love it----- but it was broken when it arrived--one ear was broken off. Have returned it, but don't think I will chance another one as its obviously very flimsy, and I have young grandchildren around!!!!! Such a shame.
