4.2kw Gas Heater

Great little heater which warms the body rather than the air. Ideal for desktop use especially as the automatic shut off acts as a safeguard should it be knocked over. Each of the 2 bars uses 400 watts each and you can have the top only or both together so fairly economical. For the price it's a great little thing.

I received my order in October and only started using the heater beginning of December. The bottom bar is burning out and it's not possible to use this heater as the bar is causing sparks like fire. I'm very disappointed with this purchase.

Excellent little low cost heater that can warm a small room, or good for some direct heat. But be prepared for it not being a long life item, as the elements are not long lasting. Using on the 400w setting until that element dies, and then on to setting number 2 for the other element, and it may be a 'one winter' item, and buy another next year. Using one element alone keeps the running cost low, and provides a bit of 'top up' heat. Good safety feature in that it turns off if knocked over.

A handy little radiant heater, gives a cheerful glow and direct radiant heat from one or both 400W quartz bars . Note that it needs to stand on a hard surface, otherwise the tip-over switch doesn't click on ! These heaters are not really room heaters, they give out instant radiant heat that you can feel and the bright glow is psychologically warming ! Get a convector heater if you want to warm the room.

very well made works well but the instrusions are rubbish i have fitted these befor allways been very easy but trying to fallow your instrusions i could not

I was skeptical about the size, but this 2000W heater packs a serious punch. It heated my medium-sized living room in under 15 minutes.

Very good value at less than a tenner. Provides a good amount of warmth and probably one of the most cost effective heaters you can buy. If you just have one bar on which uses 400W this works out at about 12p per hour to use which is great if you're mindful of your bills in these days of ever increasing energy costs. Update to this review. The heater worked fine for three weeks, I only used the bottom bar but then it started to spark in two places and then wouldn't come on at all after that. Even though it's cheap it should last longer than three weeks. Not happy at all. I'll buy a replacement but definitely not this one.
