It is a half sok with apiece of hard card board glued to the side where your big toe goes. A few stitches between the big toe and reat of toes and that's it. Didn't really help at all.

I have an odd sesamoiditis issue, in that most people have 2 sesamoid bones, but I have THREE! I frequently battle sesamoiditis, the rubbing together and irritation of the bones and muscle in that area. The ball of my foot swells, the nerves are painfully irritated, and I can barely put weight on my foot. Lately it's been so bad, and I was at a loss for what else I could do--it's hard to stay off my feet to allow them to heal, and pounding down the ibuprofen is not good for my stomach. In a moment of desperation, I ordered these, one for each foot, and they worked almost immediately. I received them yesterday morning, wore them all day and overnight, and this morning, NO PAIN. If this is coincidence or not, I don't know, all I know is I'm not in pain and so happy.

My doctor prescribed a shoe, but I don’t like to wear shoes in my house, and in today’s hybrid work life, I spend more time at home. This was the perfect solution and it is comfortable enough to wear all day.

The seems on its ends are a large lump and uncomfortable. Also it pushes the smaller toes inward thus not allowing them to lay naturally in a large box shoe.

I bought this for sleeping after I broke my big toe. However, even though they are of excellent quality, and I have a relatively small foot (6.5 in women's sizing), it was too tight around the middle of my foot and around the unbroken toes. Too uncomfortable for me to wear for sleeping.
