Roller Derby Boy's Stinger 5.2 Adjustable Inline Skate

The R&D design of this inline skate is crazy impressive, but looks like the bean counters of accounting got their hand in the cookie jar.The outstanding:Even the small size comes with adult sized 76mm wheels with a very soft durometer rating. So it rolls cleanly and smoothly over indoor tile lines and outdoor concrete cracks. Skate anywhere.The bearings initially don't appear to free-roll very well, but on the track, they have comparable rolling resistance to a pair of CCM Externo's with Abec 7's three times the price. Your kid won't outgrow these bearings. They're fast.Size adjusts easily and solidly. Not at all flimsy.Vents all over the sides and bottom. Kids don't generally have athletes foot, but they got you covered anyway.It's literally a pro level skate at a third the cost.Has a quick strap.The unfathomable:The quick strap is so cheap it doesn't hold any meaningful amount of tension. It just slips open under tension. You'd be better cutting it off and substituting a motorcycle strap from Walmart. Bam! 6-star skates!The laces also look like an afterthought.

Came when it was expected and it fits him perfect. He is a size 2. I love that I can make these smaller or bigger. I could even have my 6 year old use these (if my 8 yr old would share lol) because the lowest size is 12. If you have more than one child and they are between 12-2 in shoe size you get more out of it for your money. I also like the price. I have seen other reviews before purchasing these and others have had a problem with chafing on their legs but so far my son has been just fine, but I do make sure he has long socks on to help prevent chafing.

I've read complaints that putting these on require an adult's help. I disagree. Maybe the first. Couple times until they understand how to do it but my 7 yr old can do it just fine. All that aside. The fact they can be changed for size is great. Construction reminds me of strapping into a snowboard. The comfort level is so so but we skate for an hour so we are using these until he gets good. Then we will but nicer ones. Overall for a beginner. These are perfect.

Unfortunately had to return this as the sizing was very off. It came delivered promptly and the product was as per images. Sizing was off, we purchased as gift for our nephew and he was a size 3 so we ordered the size 3-5 to ensure he can grow into it. He tried one on and could not even fit it. He was sad but we ordered a different one. Company was prompt in their return policy also. Thank you.

These skates will NOT last long. They are not very sturdy,and do not support my son's ankles very well. The size is not accurate, skates are for sizes 2-5,my son is a 2..so I thought he would get plenty of wear out of the skates. He couldn't get his foot in the skate on the settings 2 or 3..and 4 was too tight. I had to move it all the way to the 5 setting. There is so MUCH padding in the skate that we thought it was filled with paper or cardboard. When I put my hand inside the skate to remove any paper(there was no paper),the bottom insert came out when I pulled my hand out of the skate. It was too tight to put back in the skate. So he used the skates with only one sole insert. I wanted to return the skates immediately, but this is my son's 1st pair of skates..so he fell several times and banged the skates up pretty bad. I thought the seller wouldn't accept the return. I will never buy this brand of skates again,buyer beware. I am very disappointed!!

I usually wear a women's size 5.5 or 6, and these fit perfectly in their expanded position. When fully expanded, the insole doesn't reach all the way to the toe end of the skate, but you won't notice this when you have socks and are all buckled in. Wheels roll extremely smooth on sidewalks and rough asphalt streets.Only drawback is that the laces tighten up over your toes, the buckle tightens over your shins, nothing is tightened over your ankle. As a result I'm having bad shin splints/ankle pain from getting used to skating again. Hoping it will go away over time, but I think a buckle in the center would have alleviated this.

For a cheap pair of skates, these were a great deal. Kids love them, they work well, and seem pretty well made. I think we will get a few years use out of them - and for around $30 that's great for me....

Went to a roller skating party last year & my son loved it. Bought these roller blades soon after the party & he is having a blast using them.

Fui a Medrano en GDL, y por los 850 pesos q costaban los patines en una "zona barata" de juguetes no encontre la misma calidad de estos patines. Me parecen que son muy superiores y ademas bonitos.Estoy muy contento con mi compra.Por cierto... Yo compre Medianos que en Mexico equivalen del 21 al 25 ya que son ajustables.

These are a nice pair of rollerblades for a child but I found the sizing off they run small even though adjustable. We thought according to his siE would have room to grow but they just fit and will only fit till he has growth spurt again.

these have been wonderful for my son we haven't even had to adjust them yethe has used them for 2 summers now and I know we will use them for another!!shipped and arrived on time and just as described!!

Love how these are adjustable to get yrs out of them. My son loves them and they are good quality. Wheels ride smooth

Fits my nephew and is adjustable as he grows.
