Hardly complete, hardly worth it!
This book was rather disappointing in many ways. It’s very low quality in terms of layout, formatting and binding. I didn’t really mind that but what make this a total disappointment was the lack of technical detail, and it’s very limited instructional value. When a book states in bold that it’s a complete guide I would expect much more, especially considering the high cost.I don’t recommend this book to anyone with experience in guitar setup and maintenance. It would be fine for a total beginner.

Bit light on content…
Not a bad small A5 book I guess if you are starting from zero knowledge and have never watched a video or read anything online on guitar setup and maintenance. Not much in the way of content though for the price to be honest. Tells you what to do but not in any depth so not much in the way of explanation or detail. For example tells you how to find a high fret with a fret rocker but doesn’t tell you what to do to resolve the high fret once you’ve found it. Same using a radius gauge, tells you to use one but not how to use it to set the radius.Other curios are describes Jazzmasters and Jaguars as short scale guitars - but the jazzmaster isn’t - and omits checking and setting the action at the nut, which is a key part of a “complete setup”. Doesn’t go into fret levelling or crowing at all.Yeah am a bit disappointed with it sadly and as an another reviewer says is way overpriced. Bizarre how it kind of stops short of telling you how to do things throughout. Read from cover to cover in about half an hour. Will keep it though as may come in handy to try some of their recommended measurements in the appendices at the back.
