great bulb, very bright for 5wt, daylight brite. Converted a post light to 12v and needed a new bulb and this fit the bill nicely. Good quality, don't know the longevity, but will try to update.

Work perfectly in my cabin off my solar panels/Battery set up. I replaced a set of four incandesce and 12 V bulbs and was concerned that the LED upgrade may not work as well. They actually work better and are using less energy and battery life. very very happy with this product

Runs great on my battery system also seems to be able to handle 14v DC (while charging) without burning out.

I'm using these in a street lamp outdoors I wired to a solar powered 12v deep cycle battery. Previously I had powered 120v bulbs using the same setup and an inverter but apparently the inverter causes adds 20% onto power consumption so why not just buy these and be more efficient? So far, so good.

Be forewarned that these are COOL white towards the 5K or 6K tint range, NOT daylight white in the 4K to 5K range. These have a blue cast to them. I am going to keep them and use them, but the words "daylight white" should not be used with these bulbs.

LED !2 volt AC/DC bulbs with standard Edison bases are great! Obviously useful on boats or off-grid, there are at least two possible somewhat unexpected places they should be considered: Outdoor lighting installations are trivial when standard 12 volt garden wiring is used----which doesn't require conduit. And then it's so easy just to grab any old standard lighting fixture and screw in the 12 volt (and quite bright) bulb. Another use, I'm thinking, is emergency home lighting. When the power goes out, far better than candles and far easier than a generator, is some fairly casually deployed light fixtures with a kept-charged car battery under the house.
