I work long hours at a desk and it is not always possible for me to stand or walk around as often as I like. This well made foot rest makes it possible for me to easily maintain movement of my feet. It did slide a bit on my wood flooring, so I put a small area rug under it. I think its appearance is better than something plastic and isn’t very noticeable under my work from home desk. It was easy to assemble and I expect it will hold up well over the years. The nonslip finish on the area where your feet rest helps to prevent your feet from unwanted sliding. I think it might also be helpful for fidgeting or reducing stress by allowing fairly unnoticeable physical movement.

This thing is awesome. It's not adjustable so make sure you have an adjustable chair or it probably won't be ergonomic. I feel so much better after a long work day because my legs are more mobile.

Stable when not rocking so it keeps a good steady elevation. Width is good enough for purposeNot so great. Despite rubber application on the rockers, it will slide on ceramic tile when you rock awayNot good. The rubber smell is overpowering straight out the box. I couldn't subject myself or co-workers to the stench. Brought it home and did 2 rounds of baking soda and vinegar and airing to significantly reduce the odour. I strongly recommend you do the same before use in an enclosed space. With all that, there is still a faint odour left. It would be great if the company found a way to reduce the odour before shipping.

It’s so much better than the standard plastic wedge shaped one I’ve used for years. It was easy to put together and it’s light and easy to move. It works like a standard footrest to put you in a more ergonomic position, but it also helps if you’re fidgety and/or a leg jiggled, like me.

I'm a short girl at a work desk and I have no idea why I waited years to buy something Iike this. I was so pleased with the weight and quality, and although I never would have thought to get a rocking foot rest, it is PERFECT. I can stretch my legs in different ways on it and it serves as a bit of a fidget toy also. Great buy.
