They live in our hair follicles & only come out when you're at your lowest in health. I wasn't eating right or getting enuf sleep. I was so stressed out, I was close to depression. Demodex. Ugh!Found many products on Amazon for this. Bought this one for the price & how soon it would arrive! Think the Tea Tree Oil & Salicylic Acid are the keys. This product works great! I gently rubbed a drop each wherever needed. Add a pat of water to make it suds up. No burning in my eyes. Feels like a face wash. Wiped off with warm wash cloth. It feels like it's drying out your skin. These Mites are contagious. Don't share items that have touched your face.This product works! Great value for the price! A drop or two is all you need for each application. After I eliminated them from my eyes & nose, I got them on my ears! This product is safe for all parts of your body. Know that you can't just use this product, tho. You Have to take charge of your stress, improve your eating habits & get some sleep. They're not completely gone & never will be, bcuz they're naturally in our skin already. They attack us when we're at our lowest. But it relieved & removed the itching & crusty eyes.Recommend you try this product! The bottle will last a long time, unless you need to use it on your body too. Thankfully, I only get them on my face & head.

I don’t really wear make up or anything on my eyes, but noticed I was getting a bit of a build up. I do have an auto immune deficiency and read that this is very common. I bought this because it has tea tree oil in it. It has really helped. I use it twice a day.

While tea tree oil isn't going to kill Demodex it will reduce their population numbers. This gel is nice as it doesn't have to be washed off like the foams. Slight scent but I'm not scent sensitive like others may be. Only a very slight stinking sensation on application. But since I leave the gel on I may apply with a Qtip and not the 1/2 cosmetic round I've been using for application. Possibly a more precise application will reduce possible stinging sensation. Not a big deal however. Hope this will be as effective as the other product I bought on Amazon but which is no longer available.Gel consistency is thick enough to apply to a cotton swab without the gel slipping off the swab.

I am surprised because this product works better than anything I have tried .It really cleans your eyes and makes them feel not irritated anymore .If you have any type of issue with your eyes , this works so well .

my eyes have itched constantly and i came across this item and thought i would try it. its easy to use, soothing and stopped the itching! just rub it into the eyelids with your eyes closed and rinse with warm water. What relief! Seems to last from a day to a week and then I repeat it. I have never felt it burn my eyes, but i am careful to not let it get in the eye before i rinse it out. I dont know if my problem is allergies or dust mites, but whatever it is, this takes care of it.
