Very adaptable "brace" for foot drop
While this will not be helpful for all people with foot drop, for those with mild foot drop it might be just the thing. I am able to use it with my kizik tennis shoes and with my easy spirit sandals. It pulls my toes up just enough. I think I could easily drive with it.I really live how adjustable it is, so that I do have options to use it with different shoes. The other thing that makes it nice is that it's so easy to take on and off. When I'm sitting with my feet up the whole thing comes off and then when I need it it's easily fits back on. Also it is very light and was very easy to pack for a trip.

Perfect brace for foot drop
Other than the cheap and easily bent shoe clips, this brace works nicely keeping my foot and toes up. I had used the Medicare brace which was obtrusive, ugly, uncomfortable and expensive even with my copay. You don't have to shove these into an oversized shoe to accommodate the stupid design of the Medicare one...I use a small key ring and put one (two) each in my end eyelets on my right shoe WHICH STAY THERE. From there, it's simply a hook and unhook situation to use. I use a full sized ankle height sock under it, and it holds firmly. Put on your shoe, put on your brace and hook the two hooks to the rings on your shoe. Done. Easy peasy and it works SO WELL....AAA+++

Helpful, except for the metal clips
Good product, but the clips are week for my husband's dropped foot. One of them bent and snapped off the first day!

Functionality
I had severe nerve compression in 2016 at l5/s1, due to statin inflammation and some latent back issues. Had two surgeries in 2017 and a spinal fusion earlier this year at l3. I’ve had severe foot drop since 2017. Insurance paid in 2017 for two AFOs, up to knee, made by local firm. Never could walk with them. Another firm charged $500 for one to knee made from carbon fiber. Fell trying to walk in it. These are third variation I found and bought on Amazon and they are great. They don’t slip into shoes, so you are not dealing with fit and foot pain. The lift is adjustable. They. Are covered by long pants, if that’s important. They support ankle but don’t lock it out. You can take it off and carry in your pocket if needed to allow rest. And they are reasonably priced. I have 3 of these. I now only need it on left foot. The Drs are fascinated by them. Drs are clueless about post surgical functionality. Every durable medical equipment shop has its trick widget, all overpriced, and most no more than a 50% restoration of function. My gait is almost normal wearing this and continues to improve. Foot drop hardly noticeable to others.Good luck to all going through this. Don’t give up

I can walk again !
The support that results from this product is great. The stretchable rubber cord results in being able to flex your foot down if needed (like pushing a gas pedal. I have a size 13 shoe, so I had to use the second / third shoestring hole. I could streatch it to use the first hole but that resulted in a very firm pull. I did like a couple others and used keyring holders to simplify attaching the cord. This made it so my walking could be much more normal. (I need to learn to walk again .. 😀 .If it holds, up its well worth the money. Also size: if I measured my ankle right around and over the ankle bone. I got just under 12. I ordered the large and it's fine. If you look at the provided picture of both small and large, you will see the small just shortens the left side, so the overlap of the velcro is less. My only trouble was the cord was short for my size 13 shoe.

Terrible fit and falls down
Tried XS/S based on sizing chart which didn’t fit and was way too small and slid down my leg. Then tried M/L which also slid down my leg. Thankfully first return was easy so hopefully I am not stuck with the second one. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Recommended by PT

Life Saver!!!
Order came 1 day Prime, Excellent! from the moment i put this on i could walk like normal. I woke up 4 days ago with drop foot on my left side. I believe from wearing very tight tall steel toed boots. I am doing some rehabilitative exercises and starting to gain a small fraction of motion back but in the meantime i have to work. I haven't tried them at work but if any indication is to be drawn from using this with tennis shoes, work will not be an issue. This is awesome! I have seen high cost ($1K) products from orthopedics stores but this item is a life saver for sure!! Highly Highly Recommended!!!Thank you Core Products! You Rock!!! P.S. Confirmed, works with work boots perfectly!

Not for every one but could be for some
I think it depends on your personal diagnosis It does lift the drop foot a bit but not much improvement in walking for me the quality of material is good I will say that.i guess it depends on the individual user and there exact needs
